Very little programmers understand fully writing out a program from start to finish and having it run flawlessly on the first try. It's probably one of the most satisfying feelings on Earth lol

There should be an advantage by doing the most commands at a time, like reducing cost per command. That would make you think harder and more steps ahead. This game is pretty sweet and and I likes the boss fight. I certainly wouldn't mind watching more of this! :)

​@@danielyuan9862-- If the cost to run was great enough, it would become a "fewest runs" gamemode. Go for that TAS completion. A cost per line could be interesting too, really emphasize the loops. Cost per modification while keeping the program between runs might be interesting, would encourage keeping a big conditional library that can be enabled or disabled cheaply. A mode where the program is made withing a permanent while true loop? You have to rewrite it while it's running, like a necrodancer mode.

That will however end up him being at the grass tile right next to the command block, and the next move he is going to go right a ton, it’s gonna cost him more

That's a very interesting concept. Also I like that you don't have to manually sell all your leftover code at the end to get the most gold. The game does it for you.

Having been recommended a bunch of other people who try indie games, I've come to think Aliensrock is really high up on my favourites, primarily because he's not Frustratingly dumb. It's nice to watch someone who gets strategy and the like at a reasonable speed.
