This cruciball level doesn't heal you for 50% of missing health, it heals for 50% of max health. If you are at or above 50%, you will go to max.

i assumed it was for 50% of the damage taken, so if you survive a 100 damage you get healed by 50

@@francenkovcan5211 usually you heal to full every level. So if you have 8 hp you get sent up to your max hp, usually 100. Cruciball 13 means you go from 8 to 58 in the same situation. Reduced even further in Cruciball 14 since that sets your starting max hp to 80. So you only heal 40.

Very rarely do you see someone do 1.161172e+07 damage.

You didn't realise it, but the lucky penny made the build as good as it was, since three crits were moving at a time instead of one. The only relic you were missing that could kick this into maximum overdrive is the one that counts crits and refresh orbs as normal orbs for adding damage.

I love how tyler physically recoils whenever there is a really loud refresh noise

These are some of the patch notes of December 17th, two days before this video came out: Reorbanizer's effect has been limited to 10x per shot to prevent softlocking with Duplication Potion. And Damage per peg has been limited to 999 to help with display issues. Damage per peg now also displays more nicely for 3-digit values. Making this build still strong but nothing in comparison to what it used to be.

The reason for those changes is because with crit fleece people were able to overflow the damage values, causing their shots to deal 0 damage.

Had a god run myself, I dont know the relic names but here you go Reload sheild- prevents dmg during reload Meat- heals for 4 eat reload Refresh shield- refreshes board each reload Scale- adds "balence(+X/+X)" each reload - destory all orbs for oroboros - discard/reload into oblivion

Every time I get the auto reload build with the cheese and shield in the current crucibal I'm on I somehow always get the castle wall boss and it just kills me

The shuffle limit for reorbaniser is 10x, meaning you were probably hitting the limit most of the time. Also very lucky he never picked Betsy's hedge, even if he wasn't thinking of how it would ruin the crit fleece.

It would kill the run. It would easily drive crit damage down to 0. But with guaranteed crit, he could do no damage.

Betsy's Hedge would've good if and ONLY if he had nothing but Lvl. 3 Allorbnothings, since the increased non-crit damage would instead be added to the crit damage instead.

By the way, there are hidden challenges you can do in Peglin! Go to the custom start, click on relics, and go to the final page. There is a page called "Secret" where you can see the original Crit Fleece, the removed Salt Shaker and Gardener Glove, a debug relic for invulnerability, and 3 special challenges. there's one challenge to start and 2 more unlocked by winning with the challenge relics.

Runs like this are why peglin needs an endless mode

For anyone curious, I did find a unstoppable deck that literally only requires 2 relic's. Those are 1.the cheese and 2. The shield that blocks all DMG during a reload. The just get rid of all orbs and you just win

I was gonna complain about taking the Dumb Bell because Muscircle increasing the non-crit damage is antisynergy with crit fleece but it didn’t matter at all in the end since he never reloaded lol.

I hope they add other modes to peglin in the future, like limited shots per fight.

@@Jehty_ that's the point of it not just being increased health on enemies, but also a slow decreasing of items and orbs so that you have to accommodate for the chance of the build dying out, for example if after a couple loops you loose the crit fleece or the duplicator potion then what? you don't have the limitless damage anymore and the enemies are now a couple loops in so you have to pivit. I dunno I think it could be interesting, plus some people may want to just do that victory lap I know that I enjoy that.

Can't wait to see tyler use the molten mantle in a future run. Its an incredibly overpowered relic, and you can still upgrade orbs from various events

he didnt realize it, but he almost screwed himself with betsys hedge. the critsomalos fleece counts damage at (crit damage - reg damage), so with the exponential crits causing super big regular damage numbers, the critsomalos fleece could have actually ended up being negative damage

Another very broken thing is Molten Mantle with any semi-decent floor 1 build, since you'll pretty much kill any fight without before finishing your first throw, since you deal increasing direct damage to the targeted enemy. The only fight this doesn't work on is the blind fight on Floor 3, since you can't target any enemy. That item can singlehandedly win you a run tho.

I just love it that when games start using scientific notation for something, you know its crazy

There’s no way every day I find a peglin build on the exact same cruciball and Aliensrock does the build 1 day later such a coincidence

i figured out what the hardest ball would be. something like the terriball, except it cant be removed or discarded, it has a weak magnetic attraction to pegs, and its damage becomes self damage.

You should really try Ball Lightning or Orbsium eventually, because of how their effects, all buffs to both damage & crit will be more effective than with other orbs, going from a 2x increase in buff effectiveness over standard orbs, to a 4x increase in buff potency at tier III, as any damage/crit buffs these orbs get is applied to every one of the orb's peg hits.
