I tried all these methods, none of them worked. I did it exactly the way you said, nothing happened. I have a 2007 Philips tv. I am using an rca universal remote. I entered all 19 different codes.

I Have a TLC Roku Tv What are the Codes For it 🤔

Whit buttons if for reacever

I got the remote to work but I cannot change input settings. It brings up the input menu but the up/down buttons dont work to change it none of the buttons works I tried.
