Thank you for posting this! Our child lost the remote at our AirBnb. We turned the place upside down looking for it. We went to the local hardware store in the isolated mountain town we are visiting. They had an old, dusty, previously returned RCA universal remote (like the one pictured). With. your video, we got everything working! We are so grateful for your clear directions. The next closest hardware store is an hour away.

OMG THANK YOOUUU😭 but I had to do it the opposite way! Instead of having it already turned on and then the TV turning off, I had to have it already turned off so the TV could turn back on and then all the buttons worked

Not sure why, but the ok button to select the input doesnt seem work and immediately change the input, waiting like 10 seconds for the TV to do it itself isnt a big deal, but curious as to why all the other buttons work lol. Anyways, legit video! An online guide failed to show the last step about scrolling to find the right code! Glad I had a replacement in this exact model to replace the mistakenly thrown away Spectre remote 😢
