When I press the devices button (tv in this case) the light doesn't come on. I bought a new pack of batteries and tried them on different remotes to make sure they worked... they did. Is my remote not working or is there something else I need to do? Or should I send it back and get a new one

try to wiggle or roll the batteries in place.. i've seen them loose contact,.. that could be what's going on.. it should work

How could you not shows us that your TV went on or turned off? That is very vital.....

My remote did respond thanks but..the channel button does nothing, in the flip side, the TV turns on, and the volume key is responding, but the channel button is not responding. What am I doing wrong? Please respond thanks☺

It could be you need to try some other codes. Sometimes codes only partially work. If you've tried all the codes, did this remote have a auto code search? I don't remember. that might hit on a better code too.

Sometimes codes will only partially work. If you have more codes available, try some different codes...

Yea, most modern remotes are geared for a DVD, but you might try pushing some of the other buttons just to see what they do, it might hit on the one your looking for.

David Crossen that's a good one... try using the remote on a different device or TV if u have one available... if it works ok on those... it could be a compatibility issue on that particular tv
