Profiting from trapped market participants and fear w/ Lance Beggs
Full show notes: chatwithtraders.com/ep-013-lan... - - With upwards of 15 years in the game, this weeks guest had no shortage of deep trading knowledge to reflect on for our interview.
Let me introduce you to, Lance Beggs - a price action trader who is a little different to most…
While he relies on technicals to a certain degree, his edge comes from the ability to adapt the mindset of other participants and gauge entries based on their fear. Lance refers to this as the metagame, which he breaks down in much greater detail during the interview.
Lance also goes into how he controls tight stops, and uses an aggressive risk management strategy to trade without fear. Plus, this segment includes some great tips on how to nail the re-entry, that many traders struggle with, mainly due to psychology reasons.

Thanks Aaron for inviting Lance Beggs, the legend of Price Action.
best to you you, and family. thank you for clearity .its not easy.
It's been only 3 months that I started trading in early 2021. I am a huge fan of "Chat with Traders" podcast but this is the best episode so far.
Great interview. You can tell that not only Lance is a great trader but also a great human being.
Aaron, you are a legend! You always ask the right question. Thank you.
Amazing interview. Lance is best trading teacher I know.
One of the greatest interviews ever!
Superb Clarity....thanks for this Channel it's been a super help to me
46:12 this is how i turned profitable. I printed over 300 days of intraday action and analyzed the way my market moves each day. I know now what kind of days can happen, what hours are the best, what ATR I can expect at any moment in the session. How slow market moves, how big moves start. No book you can buy can teach you this.

I have also analysed daily candle chart specifically to know ATR, how big of a movement I can expect, how many down days are in huge bull markets in stocks (45%). How typical up or down day looks like and what are differences in intraday action.

I can say Im almost the same as him, 4 years now and I finally started to have almost same thoughts as him.( after losing like crap haha) I can say what he says is gold and you need to remember whatever he's saying, possibly the HOLY GRAIL of trading. Most stuff online are lies or bullshit! :) Good luck!

- Identify a short term bias for market movement (the next two or three price swings have to be bullish or bearish) and look for a price movement against that bias. After that identify the internal strength and weakness of the pull backs and points where trapped market participants know they have it absolutely wrong and profit from their exit order flow by entering at or before that point of their failure. - Identify where others will buy after you and identify where others will sell after you. - New traders understand the probabilities of this game (every trade is not going to win) and that if, for example you have a 55% win rate, you are going to have a hell of a lot of losers as well, yet their actions don't show they really get that. Losses are just part of the game. - Look at trading from a process of growth and development perspective, not from a quick buck systems perspective. - Forgive yourself as many times as you need and take the time out to laugh at yourself and the things you do and learn from it and move on.

I bought his YTC course about 3 years ago. It's basically a book in pdf format. You also get email support from him. Though not flashy with videos and forums, etc., like some other courses, the content more than makes up for it. I was originally interested in price action analysis through Al Brook's books and some online resources. Lance's writing style is much more comprehensible and organized.
