He is not an Empath, he is a Telepath, but the amplification of his powers with Cerebro and the links he made with his X-Men, along side scanning the minds of people on Earth as said with Cerebro, has left him with a connection, specifically with the X-Men. Through the horrors Gambit witnessed and his death, Charles was seeing and felt the pain of the Mutants in Genosha. Remember, Jean is a low Level Telepath, but an Omega Level Telekenetic, Charles Telepathy is Omega Level too.

@@d_3634 He had the most powerful telepathy in mutant kind, so I do think he is Omega Level, but I just in Telepathy, because he has no other one to powers like Jean and others. Sort of like Iceman's Cryo powers which evolved at a time. So indeed, Charles' powers may have also reached that level over time because no other telepath can reach his level.

I may be wrong, but i think that Blackbird said that they are not even in the same Galaxy as Earth. If i remember correctly, she said something like "what would you have us do? Rule from your Milky Way Ghetto?" This indicates that they are far further than simply halfway across the galaxy. More likely, it is totally different galaxy.

You know...seeing the globe's fire be in Gambit color and seeing a giant of him. I think this is foreshadowing Gambit becoming the Horseman of Death.

Providing friends of humanity with weapons that deprive mutants from their powers but not permanently. - Not the first time he tried it. This time he found a much effective way to do it so he easily subdue mutants

@@hangyao479 I'm no expert, but Magneto has used many names. For example in his origin comic, which was published in 2009 and tells his story in a concentration camp, his name was Max Eisenhardt. Apparently, this is his original name, but in the comics his original name is Erik Lehnsherr, as of now.

In the comics Gambit had the potential to become an omega, but it was so powerful he asked Sinister for nerfs

Yup. He could charge things with line of sight and at much higher potentials, but it was growing out of his control where random shit would just explode around him absorbing the kinetic energy that radiates from him.

I love that they pulled 0:46 straight from his lines in E is for Extinction. Between this and Vulcan's cameo, I can't wait to see what other 2000s and beyond X-Men stories they borrow from.

All this foreshadowing of Gambit as Death..and them lingering on his funeral as well as Day of the Dead in the newest episode…if Remy isn’t back as a Horseman, it’s a wasted opportunity…and they’ve once again wasted one of the greatest XMen.

In just a few minutes, Sinister became the scariest bastard ever.

Interesting that they used basically the same plot as E is for Extinction, but with Sinister instead of Cassandra Nova. This actually actually makes the story feel fresh for people who have read the comic, because their motivations should be completely different (unless Sinister is a parasite trying to exterminate Homo Superior)

I’ve wondered for years whether Professor X would ever come back to earth, so this episode was one of my favorites. I can’t wait until he finally reunites with the X-Men 😭

"THEY WERE DANCING. DRINKING WINE. MAKING LOVE" being yelled in despair would normally make me laugh for how melodramatic of a line that was, but Xavier's VA sold that shit and made me take it 100% seriously (on first viewing at least)

Kind of feel like this protrayal of Skelton gambit is the writers way of telling us horseman of death gambit is going to make an appearance

I wonder Gambit will turn into the horsemen of death by Apocalypse just like in the comics. Don't know if they are planning to do that but that would be interesting to see in animation. Doesn't look like we will see it this season though. Maybe at the end of the season we will see Gambit as the horsemen of death and then we see Apocalypse and he will be the big bad villain for the next season of X-men 97.

I think the vision of gambit was a symbolic warning of his fellow students turning into the 4 horsemen. For the production is a possible Easter 🐣 egg to explore since the comic has some relations. Really depends on the production how brave they want to explore the comic fan base narrative.

Her diamond form would would save her. In the comics she unlocked it when faced with death and suffered trauma over it as her students died but she didn't.
