ANNOUNCEMENT: ‼️👇GOLDEN AGE OF #PHILIPPINECINEMA SCREENINGS (LVN PICTURES)
The Embassy of the Philippines and the Korean Film Archive (KOFA) cordially invites the public to special screenings of classic Filipino films, restored and enhanced by ABS-CBN, from the #GoldenAgeoffPhilippineCinema (from LVN Pictures). The screenings will take place from 28 May to 12 June 2024 at the Cinematheque KOFA 2 located at 400 World Cup Buk-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul. All films are subtitled in Korean and English. Admission is free.
The screening schedules are detailed below and may also be accessed via the KOFA website at eng.koreafim.or.kr. The opening program is at 6:45 pm on 28 May 2024 followed by a screening of “#Sumpaan” and there will be a Special Talk on Philippine Cinema by Philippine film expert Dr. #JoelDavid on 08 June 2024
This event is being held to commemorate Philippine Heritage Month and the 75th anniversary of Philippines-Korea diplomatic relations. See you all at the movies!
