Professor Clemmons ASMR Test Session
Ойын-сауық
You have a special visit with the Professor who performs a few tests to determine how you respond to certain A.S.M.R. stimuli. He also uses his computer to keep track and update your records throughout the session, while divulging some information about himself and the ongoings at the facility.
The Professor meant to perform a more thorough test with a laundry list of triggers. Unfortunately, he ran out of time as there are other patients he must attend.

What is ASMR?
To me, ASMR is 2 things: a sensation and a medium (like music for example).
The sensation itself (ASMR) stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant.
ASMR videos, the medium, are not only meant to help induce the sensation or "tingles" in the viewer, but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer. They often help those dealing with anxiety, stress, headaches, insomnia, mental health issues, concentrating, studying and more. It is quite therapeutic, for both the creator and recipient, which is not that much different than the mediums of music and painting, for example.
Many people who do not experience ASMR still enjoy the videos for their calming and sleepy effect.

I feel very relaxed, knowing that Nyarlathotep, a being that could destroy the whole earth, is performing ASMR tests on me.

i dont think it would be good as a souls style game. maybe a open world, innsmoth and arkham sanatarium, from a first person view. that way, it keeps to the videos, cause we never see who we are supposed to be. sorta like doshonored, but more open
It took me a while after following ER to realize that the reason he uses Lovecraftian mythos so much is because he uses ASMR to stand for "Arkham Sanitarium Mental Rehabilitation" instead of autonomous sensory meridian response

"Most notably, SCP-049". Then, I searched. I can't believe I forgot the Doctor's number, ffs. Nevertheless, I eargasmed after checking.
I was so happy to see Professor C. In my KZread feed. Waited very patiently for another video, now it will be on repeat for a WHILE. :D
Out of all of the hand motions you do, the 'sewing' one is the one that gives me the most tingles, for whatever reason. Thanks for the vid, Professor, always a pleasure.
Uncle E, I just wanted to state my gratitude for you wonderful videos. so much more effort than most asmr channels. excellent job, i hope youll keep up the great work :)
You're so ridiculously creative. I think you're amazing, Uncle E.
Rift, your content is the best quality I've seen in any asmr vid ever

I was half-expecting a reference to his cutting mat's disappearance (when Dave took it as a "practical joke"). Awesome asmr session, by the way.

i still come back to this for the needle and thread hand movements, its sooooo triggering for me i love it
I have been watching this channel and many other ASMR channels for about a year now. And I wish I could experience ASMR, I have no idea what it would feel like
I had an anxiety attack today and this helped me out a lot. Thank you, Mr. Rift.

I think I've said it before, but I'll say it again; You truly are an artist. I respect and appreciate your uncompromising creativity. You offer more than just an ASMR experience. I hope that you have many outlets for the obvious talents which you posses

You really should write a book with all your characters in it with a plot twist! I think people would like to see how you really see your world and every place the characters has in it. Just a book with no ASMR reference in it, just your creativity with an awesome story including your many characters!
I love the sound of keys on a keyboard being lightly pressed.

ER deserves way more subs
This is the only video I can find where someone mimes the threading of a sewing needle as a hand movement, which is unfortunate as it’s one of the most relaxing things known to me regarding the world of ASMR
the cutting mat was very nice!
I always come back for that cutting mat.
Simply the best, Uncle E
that was a great start :)
that was amazing what you did with the invisible string rift😃 it was like Frickin magic!
I feel bad for never finishing Rift's videos, I usually fall asleep partway through!
Could you do a video with just the Cthulhu blocks and the R'lyehian? I keep coming back to that section and am out like a light before the next trigger. Soooooo good.
