I'm so grateful that I get to occasionally work with brands I actually like to create sponsored videos. Their direct support helps keep this channel afloat in the ever unstable world of KZread ad revenue. These videos will always be disclosed, of course, and I appreciate everyone's kind support for these partnerships. Royalty Soaps also participates in commission or discount affiliations, like Amazon or RewardStyle, as these opportunities become available, like Amazon and RewardStyle and while the money we make with these links isn't much, every little bit counts and once again, we really appreciate your support! These products will always be marked and disclosed with a "✦".

    If the vanilla makes it turn brown over time, you may actually be able to use that to your advantage to make a cool color-changing soap. Only really works for the poop theme though....

    It would be a lengthy and involved soap but do one of those scraped layer panorama soaps. Like with the mountains and such. Use different colors and the vanilla color stabilizer in different amounts... and over time your soap will age like a photo from color to monotone. It would be a risky project if the soap discolors patchily though.

    Its less that it goes fully brown and more like it tints everything towards a brown tone (a bit like if you've ever put clear tape on something and then come back to ages later and its gone yellow-ish). So if you want to have bright vibrant colours, you'll end up disappointed, but if you were going for muted earthy tones anyway, it probably wouldn't be that big of a deal. And a vanilla fragrance tends to suit a more earthy colour palette anyway - like creme caramel or creme brulee type deserts are both vanilla flavoured (with caramel sauce/caramelised sugar) and are more of a brown-ish cream colour. I wouldn't really think of vanilla with anything brightly coloured as its just not what the foods its used in make me think of.

  • @AlexaFaie

    @AlexaFaie

    It would probably be fine if used in tiny soaps which could be used up quickly (like the one use snowflake slivers), but then it still begs the question of WHY you'd do it since its not like rubbing dried raspberries on your skin is going to do anything special anyway. If you wanted the benefits of raspberries, you'd have to add them to your diet! So even without the rotting to contend with there is still the whole why waste good food?

  • @AlexaFaie

    @AlexaFaie

    3 жыл бұрын

    Doesn't bother me as soap doesn't need to lather at all to work as a soap. It basically hints at them having picked something free of SLS which is a harsh detergent added to make a foam, but which can be incredibly drying and irritating to the skin (it strips too much of the body's natural sebum which is there to keep the skin healthy & protected from the elements). The soap I have doesn't lather very much as its free from SLS, SLES, and also parabens and other nasties which my skin just doesn't get on with, but it still cleans just fine. Sure you don't get tons of bubbles, but I also don't break out in a horrible itchy rash so....

It was quite normal while helping a new trainee work through fairly simple procedures, always dealing with cleanliness 🥴. But then you might also run into such a moment with various customer for all sorts of reasons. It’s those gears turning, searching for how to be honest and informative but also not grotesque....lol😅 Edit: fixed a typo.
