Professional Skimboarding is Getting Crazy!
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
The largest South Swell of the year provided the best waves that professional skimboarders have seen all summer long. Austin Keen, Blair Conklin, Brandon Sears and friends all gather on the slopes of Aliso Beach for a show you will not want to miss! Big thank you to our friend Billy or @billboards_ on instagram for making a 1/10th model of my favorite skimboard to date. Thank you Billy!

So stoaked to be in the vid! Even got a few clips of me🤙
Love your attitude buddy! Thanks for the videos
These are some incredible athletes to get pounded over and over in that shore break, and they just keep going back for more!
Such a rad episode. Probably the best skim waves I’ve ever seen!
This whole video is such a nice vibe guys ! Keep it up
Waves were firing! Tail snap wraps are always fun to watch!
Most people don't know how painful and gnarly a big fast shore break like this can be. Can break your neck.
Awesome to see chia still tearing it up out there. His bit in bearded was sick
I bet North Carolina didn’t have swells like that. 🤙
Amazing...... Some class action.....great to watch!
Billy, what a legend, so much respect!!! Yeeeeww! 🤟
Heavy water. Great edit. Skimming boarding on display at its best💥
Heavy session Blair fully committed 👍🌊🏄🏻♂️

Niceee I hope you like it
Man those waves are huge for breaking right on the beach
last year I bought a crappy wooden skimboard from the boardwalk in Wildwood nj. I started watching your videos close to the start of summer and I was planning on upgrading. I don’t have a high budget but I got a 48” zap core board, back pads and a set of front pads. Total was around $200. I also bought some wax for my old wooden board and the uncovered parts of my good board. I share the board with my siblings/cousins as we go to nj every year. Thanks for all the tutorials and content, it helped a lot!🫡
lmao im early, but i wish my beach had waves smh
9:40 sick still....
this is so brutal. much respect
1/10th scale! Whooaaa
Skimboarding looks so fun, I'd love to learn it.

Props to that camera man running all the time

Sick video. Lots of action. Good camera man 🤙 Aloha.
That’s pretty cool. New to channel but watched a lot. That is committed!
This one might look good!!!
That is literally surfing. Totally rad.
Pure SHOREBREAK!
That 7:14 wave was so sick
Awesome
respect
Very skilled
That's awesome. Until this video I had no idea that professional skimboarding was a thing. I thought it was only something kids did. I'm impressed.
Gotta give it up to the camera man . He's all in
skimmin' is the best! you wanna keep running at the waves but you get so tired!
A Grand reveile of Salt Creek? The water around 10th St. Gives incredibley awesome snorkling. The more you know, check out the rocks, under the water.
Those shore breaks are huge!
yall making it look wayy too easy!
props to the camera man at 2:21 thats just awesome.
I like how if there is a way to have fun in shore break these guys are doing it! Ha When the wave gets here be their and get drilled!
1,000 Steps Beach, is, debatable. I counted between 224-227 steps. As young, "Grommies" kids, we would race up those stairs to make sure that we caught the last bus. In 1982, we figured out how to camp there over the weekend. My record is 7 days. Not leaving 1,000 Steps.

Magical beach; from one end at 9th street, to the other end that had the Ricky Nelson house on the top of the cliff... been rebuild since thoses days in the 70s-80s
skimboarding has definetly changed alot since i was young
Huge swell so good!! Epic skills💙💥💣🤙🤙
Skim’s up, dude!
Best backhand top turn in surfing period! Blair
Yes sir
Most Excellent ¿
So, according to historic records, Dana Point Harbor was known as "Killer Dana". The first, man-made rock Jetty was construced there before the Newport Harbor, rock Jetty, that we all know as, The Wedge.
I know im a few days late but I would love for you to check out Southside Seal Beach. It's a 30 to 40 minute drive from Laguna, so not too bad!
I love all craisy dudes, got have some fun right
I'm from Riverside and people always talk shit on it like it sucks there but I lived an hour from these beaches (and an hour from Big Bear) so it at least had that going for it. Miss those waves
Wish these had been around 50 years ago when I was a teenager. I had surfed for a couple of years before anyone thought to tie the board to your leg so we got good at body surfing.
This is insane....
used to do this on Bournemouth beach with my friend using an old tray circa 1967 aged 6, great memories .........ps. not exactly the same by any means !!!😆
So, at "1,000 Step Beach" it has always broke down to what street are you talking about. Ecpesially for the Army Corp of Engineers to save the 3houses, on the beach, of 9th st. So. Laguna. The southern beach is 10th St. 11st next. I know that coast all the way to Salt Creek. I miss it so much.
7:40 so sketch and yet so awesome
Winter, go to spots. Salt Creek and San Clamente.
Вау!Как прекрасно!! Какие классные ребята!!!❤ Молодцы, Вы прекрасны!!!
Crazy amount of wipe outs thats for sure
And how is it that grom looks older than Blair?! 😂
6:54 Epic
As weather heats up, don't put your head by a fan, if your hair is getting long. Buuuaaahhhh! Salute.
Well the waves here in the OBX didn’t look like that… but they were thee best conditions we have had for a comp in like 5 years
If you could bottle those sets up and sell them everyone would be addicted😜😂😂😂
"Balls to the wall" - there is no other way.
First 🤙🏻
🤙🏻
Go try the New Port Wedge.
I can skimboard really good I go to orange beach but I am always on my wooden board but I want exile board I am also 11
I love this shit!, lol I’ve never tried being from mid Canada but why no frontside carves? It’s obviously harder but is there another reason?
at this point, its not even skimboarding anymore, its just finding the perfect waves that are more closer to shore to surf...
looks like a good way to get a.spinal tap
So, if, you decide to follow Dana jr's route, you better have a backup plan. That great book, taught me about the Pacific Ocean before the movie, "Jaws".
The soundtrack is really good! Who are the musicians?
Wish there was good skim waves in qld
Great video, had to click it and I watched till the end, but I recommend using more variation in the music (:
🤝

A cheaper version of surfing! With all the fun and thrills!
Sorry for dislocated shoulder
that's nuts because they're wiping out on shallow waters.
