Professional Skimboarding is Getting Crazy!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The largest South Swell of the year provided the best waves that professional skimboarders have seen all summer long. Austin Keen, Blair Conklin, Brandon Sears and friends all gather on the slopes of Aliso Beach for a show you will not want to miss! Big thank you to our friend Billy or @billboards_ on instagram for making a 1/10th model of my favorite skimboard to date. Thank you Billy!

last year I bought a crappy wooden skimboard from the boardwalk in Wildwood nj. I started watching your videos close to the start of summer and I was planning on upgrading. I don’t have a high budget but I got a 48” zap core board, back pads and a set of front pads. Total was around $200. I also bought some wax for my old wooden board and the uncovered parts of my good board. I share the board with my siblings/cousins as we go to nj every year. Thanks for all the tutorials and content, it helped a lot!🫡

1,000 Steps Beach, is, debatable. I counted between 224-227 steps. As young, "Grommies" kids, we would race up those stairs to make sure that we caught the last bus. In 1982, we figured out how to camp there over the weekend. My record is 7 days. Not leaving 1,000 Steps.

So, at "1,000 Step Beach" it has always broke down to what street are you talking about. Ecpesially for the Army Corp of Engineers to save the 3houses, on the beach, of 9th st. So. Laguna. The southern beach is 10th St. 11st next. I know that coast all the way to Salt Creek. I miss it so much.
