The guy was François Scarborough Clemmons. He played Officer Clemmons in Mr Rogers’ Neighbourhood from 1968 to 1993. I understand the mistake made here but for future reference, you’ll know he’s not actually a police officer.

It was my first time every hearing one of his songs, I'm still not sure why he had to throw shade at Mr. Rogers, I mean I get that it's just supposed to be a silly video, but usually there's some premise or something to make fun of. Mr. Rogers did a whole lot to help shift thought during and after the civil rights era, that's the whole point of sharing a pool episode, besides just being a nice guy and educating kids. IDK, I ain't butt hurt or nothing, it's just odd, and the track and beat were just meh, so so.

No. Mr. Rogers signed up for the draft in 1948 but was classified as medically unfit in 1950. He never saw war and the military has rejected the myth that he was a soldier. This should not take away from the fact that he was an amazing human being and did more than his share for humanity. You can’t make someone a war vet just because you wish it were so, however.
