Aw! I love that my vlogs get to make it into your writing process :')

I do agree about defining the specific methodology. For instance, students throw around "narrative analysis" haphazardly as though there aren't different forms with specific constructs.

I love love love your vlogs Sarah! They have kept me company through writing my MA diss ♥️

As a WGS undergrad I really love hearing how you're using feminist methods in your research, as if more people keep using these methods it will add to general academic conceptions of the importance of Women & Gender Studies as a field. Hearing you talk about this also satisfies a niche that's missing on KZread of WGS-academic vloggers, so I really appreciate it

@@SarahFischerVlogsYes, I passed with no revisions! 🎉 I was shocked because I was definitely expecting at least minor revisions. Waiting outside while the committee deliberated reminded me of your prospectus defense vlog, because I started freaking out when it took longer than 15-20 mins like “oh my gosh, I might actually fail?? 😭” But it is always much worse in our heads than reality. I so SO appreciate your vlogs getting me through the last few years of grad school. Thank you for the work that you contribute to embodied rhetoric (theory development is a HUGE undertaking that you are more than capable of accomplishing!), and I can’t wait to watch you pass your defense as well, future Dr. Fischer! 🥳 I hope you’re able to look back on these vlogs someday with pride in your growth, both personally and professionally!

Loved this video… So inspiring and just the boost I always need to get me moving on my dissertation! I feel like I’ve had zero motivation to do that, and too many distractions, over the last few months. I really need to cut the cycle. Anyway, so happy that your BF made a cameo! 😅

Ugh. I hate that. I could make an entire video ranting about how we need to work *with* AI instead of against it and how writing with AI is a critical literacy!
