This video has been made for the International Food Forest Symposium 2023. In this video Jordy and I explain the work that has been done to develop a database with the best cultivars, varieties and rootstocks for commercial food forest suited for the Dutch climate.

Finally a Dutchie who pronounces pawpaw correctly :) Most people here say pauwpauw, like it's related to the peacock (pauw is Dutch for peacock) or the plant has something to do with a cowboy movie. Anyway, sorry for this silly comment of mine. The video itself contains valuable information: food for thought... And I learned there is a food forest in Wageningen, so I wish to visit that place one day.
Hello Martijn and Jordy, thanks for this interesting video. We just moved from Germany to Spain where we bought a large property. On this property, we would like to design and plant a food forest. Do you know if there is also a database for Spain. We live in the Matarraña neighbourhood. This is about 2 hours drive under Barcelona.
