The Ketelbroek food forest shown in the shootage is experimental, to check the species able to produce well in our circumstances. For scaling up production and harvesting we plan and plant another type. This is elaborated in this clip: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3-YltlylKbKobg.html

Above all the farmers in the montains should know this where machines can hardly work. Congratulation.

Have you tried growing figs in your food forest? If the plant cannot withstand the winters perhaps you can try a hardier especies: Ficus afganisthanica

I have just seen berries and leafs, so I guess it's good for restoring biodiversity, for city gardens and for herbal pharmacy, but it doesn't provide cereals or other staples. I think it's a good idea for regenerating soil and providing shelter to wildlife.

Hi Luigi, our surrounding agricultural fields offer nothing to eat for humans (just ryegrass). Not filmed but growing in our food forest are 12 species of nut trees and different species offering carbon hydrates (among them Castanea ssp, Monky Puzzle). Above all, the Ketelbroek food forest shown in the shootage is experimental. It is meant to check the species able to produce well in our circumstances. For scaling up production and harvesting we plan and plant another type, also considering how we can feed the world well... This is elaborated in this clip: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m3-YltlylKbKobg.html

Kan deze man alsjeblieft met boeren, boswachters & ministers om de tafel gaan zitten, om te kijken hoe de problemen tussen boeren en de politiek op te lossen zijn?

But who is going to harvest this? One healthy person can maybe manage 1 acre. But then every family would need 1 acre and healthy person. You could not mass harvest this to feed many people in cities for example. It is a nice solution for certain situations. Maybe community garden.

Is it so terrible to have people more involved in their food, and spend 2-3 hours every weekend to harvest a large amount of food in a natural environment to feed their family/neighbours/friends?
