Armys is so diverse even the Prince of a Country change their guidelines just for BTS and Army enjoy the BTS Concert. BTS has a habit of turning award shows into their own concerts. The 2019 MMA performance was 37 minutes long. Their concerts are usually two and a half hours long. They're actually having online concerts next month, on the 13th and 14th.

BTS award show performances usually incorporate many elements. Since you like ward shows check out their 2019 MMA performance where they swept all the top award categories.. It's mind-blowing. Believe it or not, as great as the Butter choreo is, it's not necessarily their hardest. And wait til you hear a vocalist/rapper harmony.

So true some of songs you are shocked it’s from same band , so different . FYI they only have 2 full English songs ( Butter and Dynamite) . All other songs mostly in Korean mixed a little English . You will love the production value of their videos . Many have behind the scenes . They are one of the few that have videos and dance that tells the story of the song . Spring day song , Video and explanation of video is a must . It’s their vocals , raps , lyrics , story telling , dance . Each member have their solo also and they are all amazing . Daechita must must watch video ! It’s such a visceral experience

And after you’ve watched these songs and performances, there’s the live versions and the dance practice videos too. Not to overwhelm you, but let me just warn you that bts are like the avengers- each member has their solo performances which show off their individual talents. That’s even more range- here are some not all... rm persona, Jin epiphany, suga daechwita , jhope ego or chicken noodle soup, jimin serendipity, lie or filter, v singularity or stigma and jk euphoria or my time. They as a group also have Japanese songs :)

In the beginning JK was wearing the Jean jacket from their Dynamite video and playing Dynamite muffled in the background and then he transitioned to his Butter outfit. It’s like they were signaling the end of their Dynamite era and the beginning of Butter. 💜

In a reaction by a professional dancer, he was saying do jumping jacks for 2 minutes and then try to sing! And keep doing jumping jacks. Add to that-sing in a language not your own!!! Their concerts last for three hours with them dancing most of that time. I have read that they practice singing on a treadmill. They are SO talented!!!!

BTS charm is hugely inspired by MJ Taj Jackson (MJ's nephew) praised Jimin for amazing tribute to MJ in the Dynamite MV, he said his moves reminds him of Michael Jackson. he also pointed some similarities between Jimin & MJ which are both perfectionist & strict with themselves. He also supported Butter! on Jimin's bday MJ's official account tweeted Jimin's & Jungkook's "Black Or White" dance :)

BTS performed this live from Korea, they could not travel due to corona. MMA 2019 and MMA 2020 are both exeptionally good. These awardshows will blow your mind away, the american awardshows are peanuts compared to these. BTS sings always live because they are bad at lipsync, no matter how hard the choreography is... Hope you gonna watch these shows and will be mesmerized just as we did.

Fun fact: The music playing in the background at the top of this performance in the dressing room is "Dynamite," which I recommend you also check out. (Fun disco track the boys released last...August?...to provide a fun upbeat song to life up everyone's spirits, due to the pandemic).

I agree with their performance in MMA 2019. That performance made me an ARMY. I've never seen anything like that.

Being an older member of BTS Army UK, BTS are taking me on a wonderous journey. You will discover for yourself who they are, the underlying message of their music and most importantly I guarantee you'll always leave with a smile. Check out their solo sounds too. RM, Suga and J Hope turned me onto RAP. I am also checking out some other KPop groups now. BTS Army are the greatest fans, helpful, friendly and polite. Enjoy the ride!

You just have to watch everthing about them !!! Their songs from the start are amazing and the lyrics will make u cry like Lost, Paradise etc. They are once in a life time phenomenon.

The dancing for this mv is like a stroll in the park for these boys ....their dancing is amazing and its been commented by people that they could actually be a dance crew. Also would like to mention the fandom name "ARMY" we are extremely diverse and the largest majority (roughly 80%) are over the age of 20. We have a saying that you dont find BTS they find you when u need them most as they are such an inspiration with their music and their attitudes. Also they are some of the funniest, most humble , adorable guys on the planet. BTW im a 67yr old ARMY from Australia and there are many of us over 40s out here also roughly 25% of the fandom are males.

Actually they filmed this in Korea. They can't go out of Korea since there still a pandemic going on, the whole set is what BTS themselves remake in Korea just for this specific performance

Jungkook came on view at first time wearing their Dynamite outfit and you can hear Dynamite in the background, the sounds faded as he changed his clothes

Vocal,rap,dance,produser,song writer,visual,acting,model, they can do everything..bts best ever in ma life

They are performing in Souel, Korea. They build their sets to look like the award shows. I think it’s pretty amazing. You need to watch the Grammy performance because again they were in Korea and it looked just like the stage at the grammy’s. That set was pretty intricate and I was amazed at how well it was done!

I really recommend that you listen to their "less famous" songs, for example Best of Me, Dimple (vocal line only), Cypher 1,2,3,4 (Rap line only). There should be live performances available!

BTS are amazing performers, they are even better Live & we ARMYs aren't exaggerating it coz seeing is believing so anyone who ve seen BTS live will say amazing things about them.... They are really talented, hard working, always true to themselves, humble & most down to earth... BTS Debuted in 2013 as a HIP-HOP group & later extended their Discography to different genres which showcases their Versatility as a group/artists...

In case you didn't notice, their performance set changes takes them from the backstage area to the red carpet to the actual stage... Which I find really clever.

I recommend listening to dimple + pied pipper, Those songs are great 💜

i love how open ur mind is to BTS it's so refreshing to see such a genuine reaction to them! i've stanned bts since their debut so i'm happy

I saw them live in Chicago and they are phenomenal! If you ever see one of the documentaries about BTS, you will realize they give it their all with every performance. Sometimes, they pass out from exhaustion. They don’t have an opening act. It’s just them singing and dancing for 2.5 hours. I suggest watching their award show performances with an audience in the U.S. (Fake Love in 2018 AMA, Boy in Love in the 2019 BBMA) or in Korea (MAMA or Melon Music Award either 2018-2019). Plus, if you see the Korean music awards show, ours pale in comparison.

If you'd like to watch another bomb live vocals, give Crystal Snow a watch. My mind was blown away when Jin did the TRIPLE HIGH NOTES on their LIVE concert.

i love how supportive you are! they have a very diverse range, so perhaps you would like to see more of their music. they are also wonderful people (UN ambassadors) and really funny too (see their Run BTS episodes)

every BTS performance there is always something new, for example, during the DYNAMITE era they performed the song more than 50 times but each performance was always different and the stage was also very good and totality

BTS live performances are like music videos on their own! The ones they did with Jimmy Fallon and James Corden are all amazing

They have some amazing lower key performances that focus more on the vocals if that interests you. MTV unplugged and Tiny Desk Concert are a couple I’d recommend 👍🏽

@@CodyMcManus they are great storytellers, be it their music videos or live perfomances. Keep on eye on the details. They have a great team. Aside fr the members, kudis to the staff behind the camera ☺️ You shoulf watch their year-end/award show performances. MMA and MAMA every year they perform

I don't know if you noticed but their set changes aren't random, they tell a story. Noticed how they went from green room, backstage rehearsal area, red carpet, to the main performance stage. They recreated what they usually go through during the BBMAs since they can't be there in person. 🥲 One thing you'll discover is BTS and their crew are always very purposeful in every detail and aspect of their performances-- from setlist, to costumes, to set design, to camerawork. They carefully plan all of it with meaning. There's also lots of little Easter eggs for fans to notice which I'm sure other commenters have already pointed out. They are truly world class performers who never disappoint their fans!

They began formation in 2010 and debuted in 2013 and they been working hard all those years. They are the best

The harmony in 3:16 was doing by V (the one with curly brown hair) has a really deep voice; and Jimin (the blondie) who does the most hight notes in their songs

You will enjoy the tones of live performances that they have, very interesting and different!! Thank you for your kindness, being open minded, I think that all of us have a lot to learn from the boys, they are contributing in writing history of music ! These are great times to live in, beside everything negative that is happening!!

I love how they always go harder with each thing they do. The growth with these guys is always on full display.💜

They have worked their ass off to be where they are for the past 8yrs since their debut in 2013. Many people only.see the fruit of their fame and success, but they dedicated their entire life to be where they are and they sacrificed their personal life to be a part of BTS. Their perfectness is the result of 12 hrs practice every day.

Taj Jackson, Michael’s nephew us an ARMY. He regularly hypes up BTS on Twitter. BTS are also big fans of Michael & they did an homage to him in dynamite MV & a more literal incorporation of his dance moves & style in their performance for the 2020 MMA (you HAVE to react to that performance 🤯 but first watch black swan, On Kinetic Manifesto, Life Goes on & Dynamite music videos bc they are all in that performance) Welcome to the rabbit hole it is the best accidental decision you have ever made! They are AMAZING Live performers. I've seen them 3 times live in concert and they are possibly better live! This production is common for kpop groups in Korea. Part of what makes kpop kpop is the visual aspect. Suga describes kpop as an amalgamation of visuals, vocals, dancing, fashion and production to create a full musical experience.

I love your comments. I love it when musicians or producers like you reacts to kpop artists because your perspective about music and performances are in different levels and I love how you guys analyze the music choreographies and the sets. You earn a subscriber ;) more reactions to come :))))

yay im so glad you reacted to this! I agree with you that a performance is what really shows what a group can do and bts to me is so incredible live! Well Awards show? mma 2019, mama 2019, mma 2020 and mama 2020... Even before it.. They make an award show become their mini concert live performing a few their song and it did LIT!!! What a performance and stamina with vocal

They had like 4 different sets, considering they were in Korea. They recreated the billboard award show set and they did the same for the Grammys who, unfortunately, used them for click bait by saying BTS coming up and them putting them on next to last and cutting their song time. I’m thrilled that you like BTS. They really have such a varied discography. They have 3 rappers who can sing hard rap and just vocals and 4 vocalists who ether rap or back up the rappers. I’m in my 60s and have been a music fan all my life but I’ve never experienced anything quite like BTS. Sometimes, with the dancing, it’s like having 7 Michael Jacksons performing. They also gave a shout out to Usher-did you catch that? They are sticklers for perfection. By the way, the dance rehearsal video for Butter just took my breath away. Go watch it, even if you don’t react to it. There are dance rehearsal videos for most songs that have choreography. I hope you react to more BTS. They never disappoint.

Mamamoo is a female kpop group that are known for their vocals and funky/hip music videos. You would love their video hip. It's musical production is amazing

You should watching their singing live on MAMA2018 until 2020. Watching all the MV, fake love, black swan, mic drop. Every single songs was different genre, because BTS has their own genre. They are really good at singing live. Why? They are trained for 3 years before debut, doing practice dance for more than 10 hours a day (now is less because they were busy). How they can sing and dance at the same time? They were trained singing while treadmill. Dont be shy to be in this fandom...🤭 im happy to choose and stan for this amazing guys. The good things is.. they love their fans so much. Everything they got, they never forget to mentioning us ARMY !

You will be speechless when you see their stages performed in Korea : ) -2018 MMA -2019 MMA -2020 MMA MMA is the Korean Award show, and I suggest you to watch these in order. You will see what they really can do on the real stage. It is literally ANOTHER LEVEL, TOTAL ART PACKAGE 💜

bro, here are some references for u: 1. bts makes plenty of michael jackson's references in dancing styles. But this is the first time they incorporated into their lyrics. "smooth criminal". 2. They equalled the beatles record. If u break the beatles by each letter, there are 7 letters and u get the letters B.T.S. 3. Their side hair slick is an homage to elvis presley. John travolta did it in saturday night fever and grease. Most of bts disco melodies are from travolta's sat night fever era. 4. They have their own production team from cameramen, lighting, set designers, choreographer, make up & stylists, etc. This team work with them as a unit over the years to maintain consistency in overall production. 5. They usually have 20 back up dancers for live performances. Since the pandemic, they perform just 7 of them. Yet, they pull it off every single time. 6. The disco ball at the end is actually an army bomb. 7. Every dance breaks brings us to their b-boys days. That is why fans wait with great anticipation for their dance breaks. 8. Hybe shows the global music industry on a new business platform where artists, musicians, producers, songwriters, production crew, are given base salaries as employees with bonuses, perks and profit shares. Who owns the creative rights? The company. 9. One of the criterias how Big Hit selected each member of bts was based on their height. With that, it makes it easier for clothes as they have similar proportions. Being slightly taller than average south koreans, they stand out during meet n greet. Most fans who met them are quick to reply on their social media that "they are tall". This add to their persona. 10. Only die hard ARMY will catch all the hidden messages and references in every performance. There is always a story behind it. For this show, i think RM's final wink is throwing shade of "fcuk you, grammys, cos we got bbma in our bag". And rightfully so 🤣🤣🤣

You are on point in catching their talents in live-singing while moving around and dancing.. It's not easy, and even though many groups from South Korea incorporate dancing in their performances, those who can pull the live-singing are so rare; even barely there actually (I never say there's none). BTS commits to do it every single time they perform despite of difficulties. That's why you'll see their past performances had flaws, like short of breath, not in pitch, voice cracking, etc. But that's the beauty of live-singing, especially IF you're surrounded by the normalcy of lip-syncing (and do it with hardcore dancing). It takes a hell of talents to pull those things through, and people turned blind eye on them when they could do the rare things in that kind of environment (and excuse the others who did lip-syncing. Crazy)!! Enough said about "others" (never have the intention to bring others down, just CRITICIZE the community).. This BBMAs' Butter performance is definitely one of the best, the perfect performance on the record!! They are obviously getting better and better...

Mic drop SNL live is one of my favorite among many of their performances which i love! ON live on Grand Central Station Their MAMA performances. Their official concert videos. SNL, jimmy, etc! They are the best performers. S++ tier

I am happy for you! You've just discovered BTS and enjoy it so much which is a pleasure to watch. Believe me you are at the start of an amazing journey. Discovering their videos, their live performances and dance practices is like entering Ali Baba's cave
