It was filmed on a yet to be opened bridge in South Korea called the World Cup Bridge. The bridge crosses the Han River in Seoul and opens next month! So no need to shut it down since it hasn't even opened yet :)

You must realize how amazing the lighting is in this performance!!! Kudos to the lighting director, designer, and crew. Do you realize how hard it is to design lighting with perfect music cues and choreography on that huge edifice??? How long it would take to set up those lights???? Set them up to computers???? Rehearse the lights??? Reset the lights if needed? Film the whole performance with lots of takes??? Make sure the lighting was perfect on each BTS as they walked the length of the bridge???And then breakdown the lights on that enormous bridge no less??? Bravo!!! (The World Cup Bridge hasn't opened yet so no traffic, oil spills, and no trash. But I bet they still had to clean it up...dirt, bird poop, construction debris, etc. This was a huge undertaking to say the least. But it's just what Big Hit/Hybe does!!! And does it top notch the whole way!!! Literally a stellar feat!!! Did you see The Tonight Show sign??? It was there. But you probably didn't see it because it was hard to take your eyes off of the guys and this TV performance!!

Wow... Thanks for all those details that most of us don't think about!

You should watch interviews from this Tonight Show with Fallon and from the Late Late show with James Corden. In this to shows they have a very strong relationship with the host and this is the reason why these conversations are great. Ant of course the hosts have a cute bond with Jimin. Jimin got two nicknames from Jimmy and James. Jimin Fallon and Baby Mochi💜💜💜

if you go back to their older tracks like danger, no more dream, and the likes, you'd hear grittier vocals from jin (even from v and jimin). and then in dionysus, jin does adlibs in the last part and some rock-style high notes. he is my rockstar. lol 🤘🏼

You definitely have to react to Jimin's serendipity, she's really beautiful! but the MV obviously, I'm sure you won't regret it.💜✨

Wow I'd watched this so many times but hadn't noticed Jin's growl as he said 'making' til you pointed it out!! 😯 Jimin looks stunning in this

awe im so glad you have been enjoying my videos! As a musician I find I learn so much from them. I think they are doing everything right and paving a path for how artist should be in the future. Their performances are nothing short of spectacular and their dedication to their fans is what has given them this massive platform to do amazing things!

I just love that Cody is so supportive and constantly telling people to go and stream BTS, he's not using them for bait, he's genuinely interested in their art and supporting them while encouraging others to support them too

@@CodyMcManus Just a warning....that intro spoils ALL their major solos and iconic performances/stages. You are deep into Burn the Stage, know who everyone is...I would weigh these factors against watching an intro that may spoil your future reactions.

Same. His scream (lol) in Dionysis and high notes in Fake Love were highly praised. I know he will nail a rock song. Oh please HYBE let each their vocals shine more.

You would enjoy the series “Rise of Bangtan”. You see clips of their video logs, behind the scene of their debuts, and learn about the hard times created by what is known as the “haters” which still exist.

I recommend it too as a Japanese. Film Out was released on this April just before Butter. BTS didn't release Korean song in this year yet, last November they did that was about struggling but having hope in the current situation of COVID19. I think that's why PTD heals me so much. Anyway their Japanese songs are beautiful.

Every performance of BTS is unique and when they go big like this, they are just unbelievable! Loving your BTS reactions - they are just the best artists out there! thank you Cody! If you have time, you should also react to some of their earlier performances like On, Black Swan, etc --- or any of their 5 performances from their Fallon week last year. Their song IDOL is a show stopper!

They are the Ambassadors for Tourism of South Korea so I'm not surprised if they promoted the new bridge before it opens :)

I LOVED this performance so much :) Yeah, performing on the bridge, and them walking, and that they change how they perform the song, the clothes choice, so chill but SO elegant... also I love at the end how they ended it with them stopping walking and the camera keeps going, so cool. Love your reaction videos!

I'm a big fan of Jimmy Fallon too and he really shows his affection to Bts which is so heartwarming. And Bts always brings out the best stage out to Jimmy Fallon show. This is the best Butter live performance so far in my opinion.

If nobody has mentioned the BTS American Hustle Life 8-part series when they first came to the U.S., I highly recommend it. It was a year after their debut, JK was only 16, they are YOUNG, their first U.S. show with 200 people ... yet you can see back then that they were just going to be huge. Enjoy!

They appeaared on many variety shows in S. Korea doing all sort of personality revealing games and talks.

They always go big. Black and white represents MOTS theme. Pure and innocent and those who accept their shadowed selves. It's part of the BU. Jin with pink hair is fire. Vmin killed us all. BTS has rented and performed in 2 stadiums (Olympic Stadium and World Cup Stadium), inside Incheon Airport, in an airport runway, a Korean Air plane, museum, historical Gyeongbok Palace, roof of a skyscraper, and now the yet-to-be opened World Cup bridge. I know I’m missing a few more. They’re really showing off Korea to the rest of the world. 💜

Whole bridge, giant stadium, huge shopping mall, big supermarket, Airport field, whole Airplane, 600 years old Korean palace call ‘KyeungBok palace’, the helipad on top of the 80 stories of skyscrapers, art museum & actual rotating room! Since Army couldn’t travel because of this horrible COVID-19 pandemic for so long times, our BTS are trying to bring us into these wonderful places through their fantastic performances! Have you watched Run! BTS! ? It's their own show and there are more than 140 eps. And they are subtitled too. :) it really shows more of their personalities.

As a season ARMY member, I have you beat by about a month ;), I have found I really enjoy the live performances even more than the videos. I love the ones in Korean and Japanese also. For MV: Spring Day (read the story behind it); ON; Fake Love; Blood, Sweat & Tears for Korean and my new favorite is the Japanese song Film Out. Just explore. And their outfits, definitely hot! That shot of Jimin and V will be my new desktop!

Jungkook's vocal runs are majestic, I love his voice so much and the vocal agility he has is insane. Can you react to BTS Army Playlist? (Its on BANGTANTV). It's the BTS members singing one out of their own solo songs (I think JK is the only one who sang it live along with backing track but it's still fun and a good way to get sneakpeaks of their own solo songs if you are interested. I'd love to see you react more to their MV's and their solo performances as well. If you want to see more of their personalities I recommend Bangtan Bombs over on their yt channel BANGTANTV (MV Shooting Sketch (Behind the scenes, there are for Butter MV for example), short clips, BTS festa 1 hour long discussion and reflection over the past year as a group, they do these around their anniversary every year). Run BTS is their own variety show they've done for years, where they play various types of games, cook food, sew or design clothes, have photoshoots/catwalks, sing karaoke, play sports, draw and paint, have quizes etc. You'll find them on Vlive or Weverse app or the websites. It's really fun and the highlight of my weeks, they post a new episode every tuesday, except for now because it's comeback season I assume :)

The bridge is the World Cup bridge recently completed in Seoul, which is yet to be open to the public. It might be the longest bridge in South Korea and its construction took 12 years.
