Jungkook spoke a foreign language for a whole minute in front of so many people and western artists. his self confidence keeps rising. he was nervous, but he did so well. And even if he couldn’t complete it a bit in the end he didn’t took it to heart and instead joked about it😭

BTS OWNED the night! The audience could not get enough! The camera was always on them because they WERE the happening energy in the place. I felt like a proud parent watching them! Grammies are next!

I couldn’t put a good words to describe my happiness yesterday and just keep watching and smiling .. our boy is becoming bolder day by day ..

I'm one of the korean army and I still can't believe that bts could give good effects to people and also many people love them. Thank you for the armies all over the world and thank for having your interest to bts. (My english may be poor but I'm korean so Iask to be excused... )

The fact they won artist of the year was incredible. Im glad they were not in a separate category for foreign artists they won and beat out some of the top acts in America its awesome. JK was so cute he doesn't talk much in awards shows so to see him here was fun , they had a great time. Plus to see them jamming to other acts especially new kids and new edition and giving them respect was amazing as well it was like the old quard passing the torch to the new generation . I loved it all.

i was crying in front of television watching them.but when they delivered their acceptance speech for the artist of the year,i died laughing while crying like crazy.yes im going crazy for these boys.by the way,bts will be one of the presenters for the grammy nominees tomorrow.i cant wait...

"Got ARMY right behind us when we say so" Namjoon pointing at the heart with ARMY's logo and the whole stage turn into purple. YES😭💜💜💜

I'm totally proud of our guys. Did you hear JK say "I'm next" after Suga spoke? His hyungs encouraging him because he usually hides in the back to keep from speaking. This is huge for JK! Love you guys so much, congratulations!💜👍🏾👵🏿🎵.

What I really found amusing is that the amas turned from an award show to a BTS meet and greet for celebrities. Like really everyone was taking pictures with them and were looking forward to BTS performing. You could definitely tell that they really missed performing before the actual audience.

The atmosphere of the show definitely made bts more at ease if i might say, they enjoyed their time and you see them goofing around. I still can’t believe they got the artist of the year.

You HAVE to watch some of the fancams from the event (lots on twt). So much better. They messed with the sound trying to tune out the audience, bc they were way to loud.

@@CodyMcManus It was the funniest night. From the red carpet where they interviewed all the artist and everytime there was loud screams they went "oh BTS has arrived/turned a corner". And all the articles. "Saying it was basically a BTS concert with some other artist winning some awards too" and "All the celebs lined up at every break to take photos with BTS". They've always had the crowd - even their US debut was jampacked. I just watched the VLIVE and JK finished what he wanted to say. They want to focus on ARMY I think being able to see us in person just has them all just gitty.

I am so ridiculously proud of our boys 😭 their reaction to winning Artist of the Year is so similar to when they won their first MMA daesang back in 2016. Such humble, beautiful souls who deserve all of the love and support they've been shown and more 💜

So happy to see our boys perform live again.. Wish I was there to witness it live... They are just having fun and being themselves during the My Universe performance... I think, Coldplay could have confirmed late that they can perform during the show hence it's not as rehearsed as we expect it to be. I was actually looking forward to the dance break but still love there performance... It could have been the opening performance with all those pyrotechnic!!! So jealous of the audience who were able to touch the hands of JK!!! JK is really excited to perform and speak during acceptance of the awards!!!

I still loved the Coldplay performance. Was fun to see them so loose on stage 😊

In the butter performance, the wink was from Jin, not V. LOL Did you notice how the stage turned purple when RM said "Got Army right behind us when we say so"? In one of their interviews just before the show, Jhope said their performance will be "one for the books". Indeed, sweeping all three awards and being the FIRST Asian act to get Artist of the Year in an American Music Awards show, not to mention Suga speaking in Korean in the acceptance speech, is HISTORICAL.

I cried the whole time!! Can’t wait to see them on December 1st. 😭🙌🙏✌️💜

If you watch the fancams of this performance, you will be shocked to hear how loud ARMYs sang along and chanted BTS' names throughout the performance. It was amazing! I wish you could react to the fancams too.

For some reason the audio quality especially for the My Universe performance was really off, some of their mic volumes were lower than others Idk what happened there, but I'm still glad they had so much fun performing,they honestly looked so happy And I'm so proud of them! They've accomplished so much

The actual live performance sounded so much better, they tried to mute the audience here so they were actually much louder and because of that they kinda mixed their vocals strangely. I watched some fancams and they sounded so good there, not that this audio is bad, their live vocals were just better

Before everytime they go on stage to recieved and award nobody wants to make an acceptance speech and they would let RM do the talking but this time everyone litteraly wants to have a chance to speak jusk like Jkook said after Yoongi's short message he said "I am next". It really showed their confidence. So maybe the next chapter will be them all of seven making speeches. I really would love watch their SOFI concert specially the first day will they will welcome everyone and or the last day seeing give a 101% performance to everyone. Seeing a BTS live concert is a must on everyone's bucket list. By the way American award shows please take note if you want your audience to have a great time and enjoy the show just invite BTS and I guarantee that it will be party time young or old.

you thought the crowd was loud here but they even lowered the audience audio because it was so loud, you can hear armys screaming and singing in the fancams. we made sure to make the most noise after not seeing eo for 2 years

during commercial breaks,parent celebrities really took the opportunity to brought their kids to where bts seated just to had some pictures with them.one of them was shawn stockman of boyz2men.he is an army and her daughter too...i love watching those moments..bts became like santa claus during that award show.you can really see the happiness in those kids' eyes.

actually whole arena was like 99% armys, when bts arrived at the red carpet you could hear the loudest "BTS BTS" in the background even interviewers waiting for artists to approach were like "you hear that? I think bts just arrived" lol and btw actual fans and fan chants were much louder than what you can hear in these vids bc amas messed up the audio to make the crowd quieter

you should watch BTS's Dear class of 2020 youtube performance. they sang 3 songs and its not dance heavy. i think you would like it
