All songs in this album are so cool, I wish you to listen to it.😊 Nevertheless, Girl's Generation the 7th album is so good, if you looking for songs for experiences, I recommend you to listen to "Seventeen" "Villain" "You better run" "Closer" and "Mood lamp" but all songs are different vibe. you can check it out.

I don't think aespa would be too worried about having this kind of competition as they are hardcore fans of Taeyeon themselves. She's one of the biggest solo artists in Korea known for great vocals and emotional delivery. She's also a leader of a legendary girl group Girl's Generation. They are under the same label with aespa. Actually, 2 of aespa members and Taeyeon have released music together earlier this year as a part of "GOT the beat" - a supergroup made of some of the best female artists SM Entertainment has to offer.

@@thebillboard500club Taeyeon IS part of SNSD… 😊😅 she debuted with girls generation 15 years ago and has established herself as a soloist over the years. But she’s still part of the group! That’s why they just celebrated their 15th anniversary recently with a comeback. All of the members are active as soloists, actresses, DJs etc. Aespa and Taeyeon are from the same company. Aespa (and all 4th gen K-pop artistes) literally grew up idolizing and looking up to SNSD and Taeyeon…. They are legends. So even if their music are not the same genre, there is no comparison 😊 You should listen to all of Taeyeon’s solo albums. It’s totally no skip for me- even INVU whole album is awesome. And check out “Taeyeon killing voice” and any of her lives….

Taeyeon is a solo artist. She has a group, Girls Generation, but right now you are listening to her solo stuff . She has a ton of songs that really capture the emotions and most of her lyrics are deep. Her song "What Do I Call You" is really honest about a relationship that ends and what do you now call the person you used to love? You once were so close but are strangers now.

Thoroughly enjoyed how you were entranced by the song! Taeyeon's INVU is one of my favorite song of 2022. Actually, this whole album might be my favorite album of the year! P.S. Find it a bit amusing how you didn't realize that Taeyeon is a solo artist xD

@@thebillboard500club From a production standpoint her Purpose (repackaged) album has some very interesting songs. "LOL" has such a strange bass structure or "My Tragedy" plays with unique instrumentals. Or you can just listen to her insane vocals in "Gravity" or "Here I Am".

@@thebillboard500club so Killing Voice is 1 video where she sings live to a lot of her own songs. I normally recommend Killing Voice to 'vocal coaches,' not someone who is a "producer" as the original instrumentals are pushed aside. She is a great vocalist and Killing Voice will highlight that but her albums are where the real gems are from a production standpoint

I suggest you to listen Taeyeon Fine Live version. You can hear her vocals and talent 😊😊

The greater West has no idea what they are missing with music by Taeyeon. Her company didn’t want her to record this song but she persistently insisted and that it be the title song of her most recent solo album. If you fall into the Taeyeon rabbit hole, you will discover that she is a chameleon of song and can evoke emotion in all genres of music she attempts. I hope you spread news of this rare singer to your friends, family and especially colleagues. More of the world could heal by hearing her voice. Btw she will be performing at the Rose Bowl 10/15/22 at KampLA. Your review was educational but also WOW entertaining.😊

Great reaction! Taeyeon and Aespa are 2 completely different artists. Taeyeon's genre is Emotional Pop. She plays around with different sound but ultimately her music is usually more laidback vibes and very vocally heavy

The deep dive into music production was great, looking forward to seeing more. The other comments have already provided a small bit of context you were missing, but I see it as a testament to Taeyeon's power that even with no expectations (or misconceptions) that you can still be engrossed in the song without the emotional subtext that comes from being a longtime fan. I hope that you continue this journey. Since Girls' Generation (SNSD) has been active for 15 years and Taeyeon just recently celebrated her 7 year debut anniversary, there is a lot of great music to check out. Perhaps a good gateway for you would be more songs from 2022. Girls' Generation's new title track is 'Forever 1' and the other single from Taeyeon's INVU album is 'Can't Control Myself.' Also appreciated the Rush namedrop!

Taeyeon is a soloist but also part of the mega group Girls Generation. If you are in LA Taeyeon will be performing at KAMP festival on Oct 15th at the Rose Bowl. Also AESPA is also from the same entertainment company as Taeyeon so she is their senior.

I read some quote somewhere and it has rung heavy with me since I discovered kpop in December 2021: "Music is an art, dance is an art, cinematography is an art, but when you amalgamate all three like Kpop does, you're connecting with the human condition on all frequencies."

According to the MV director, it's about Artemis (Taeyeon) being in love with a hunter named Orion, but Apollo was displeased and killed Orion, so Artemis turned Orion into a constellation. Enjoyed watching Logan get blown away 23:45 haha 🤣 Looking forward to more of Logan on the channel!

Taeyeon is literally the most supportive senior of aespa grom debut till now so aespa adore Taeyeon so much!!! All of them are real fans. That is why SNSD is called the "idol of idols" they are the legendary "Nation's girl group". That title was given by the Korean citizens themselves to SNSD. FYI, specifically Karina is a Sone( pronounced as Sowon, Snsd's fan group name) Karina's reason for being an idol is because of SNSD. without SNSD, we wont have aespa Karina🥰 Winter on the other hand is a huge huge HUGE fan of Taeyeon❤️ After SNSD, I have a hard time finding a group like them until aespa debuted. They just remind me of how I fangirl over SNSD. That is ehy ny teo ultimate fave girl groups is SNSD and aespa❤️. No need to compare cuz they are both great and SNSD members are all very humble, supportive seniors and just the role model of all Kpop groups. ❤️

Oh, there's a whole world of Korean ballad soloists to explore, each more heart-wrenching than the next. Earlier this year I watched a reactor burst into tears just reading a song's liner notes! Something about staying on as a ghost to comfort an elderly bereaved partner, I believe.
