Procrastination Is by far the worst thing I struggle with. If I could change one thing in my life that would make the greatest impact...it would be to never procrastinate ever again. It has ruined more in my life than the traumas I suffered as a child. It has cost me so much. Friendships, relationships, jobs, my retirement...places to live...its truly horiffic. I have done it for so long I don't even know where it comes from. It is devastating and can strip you of your self esteem.

But Mel, I invite YOU into my morning routine. After my toilet break I head into the spare room, drink water, stretch my back over the exercise ball, then grab my weights, then sit down for 30 minutes and either write or do my Dimond painting. And then I break my 18 hour fast with a healthy blend of bone broth and coffee and sun in my eyes. But as soon as I get into that spare room, I pop on your podcast. Sometimes, our phones aren't holding us back. It's in what we choose to do with it.

Not me breaking out in tears on this last 5 min of your Video ! Guess I needed that more then I believed ... Iam a 29 Year old Creative living in LND and I do struggle with Procrastination lots of times , I didn't know about it until I have been bullied about it in my last relationship , I started to look into in . I managed to escape this this toxic Relationship bcs I knew I deserve so much more and as my biggest Criticiser I realised I have to be better tomyself to attract ppl that are good to me too . Today was again a day where I had all the time in the world but literally only managed to do the basic . I woke up tired after a nap I tok around 5 pm and I asked myself why are you still feeling so bad about you and your life . Bcs of the knowledge I already learned about procrastination I knew I have to change my mood and do something productive to distract my brain from being in this constant Circle of overthinking and low vibration . So I found your Video and ahnestly Mel I thank you so much for all of these words and your realness about it . I got this and I deserve to be fighting and getting up for my Dreams and the life I wanna live .

Thanks for sharing this great information with us! All the information you shared is great but as a life coach, I would also add that one of the biggest reasons people procrastinate is that they feel overwhelmed by the task at hand. When a task seems too big or too complex, it's easy to put it off because it feels daunting. In those situations, I find it helpful to break the task down into smaller, more manageable pieces. This makes it easier to get started and to feel a sense of progress as I work through each piece.

I really enjoy listening to you. You are very insightful and encouraging. The only issue I have is when you start cussing. It brings you down in my eyes and it is disappointing because I shut it down and turn it off. It honestly feels like a verbal attack. I know others may not think anything of it but I'm thinking there's probably a fair amount of people who feel as I do. I don't mean this as a hate mail scenario. I'm just trying to be honest.

You guys really can't listen with a few f bombs thrown around? Sheesh. Just blur the word in your head and dismiss it. That's her choice of language, guys c'mon! Sometimes a curse word can have more impact. Though I know not all viewers appreciate it. She could use words like "friggin" or the letter itself like I mentioned in another comment. Idk, for me I like Mel's work and her message I can look past the sailor mouth.

  • @martinszabo4341

I feel the same. That kind of language is a real downer. For me, it negated the good encouragement that was happening in my heart as I listened to Mel's words. Honestly, it felt like verbal abuse. In addition, I know that Mel is a smart lady and has the ability to express strong feelings and opinions without the use of swearing. She does so in about 80% of her podcasts already. There were some things in Mel's podcast today that I wanted to share with my teenagers, but I decided not to because of all the swearing. They don't use those kinds of words themselves, so I don't want to hold up someone as a teacher who is using them so freely.

I love you Mel, but the constant F-words, I don't choose to listen to that. There are many podcast that are without it, and are great. You have a wealth of knowledge to share, so I am inquiring if like movie ratings, you could somehow warn us there are F-bombs within it, and we can choose to pass on it. This would be wonderful and extremely helpful. Thank you for considering and implementing something to warn us. Thank you very, very much.

That's just who she is. She's hard as nails on some things. She's trying to drive it into you because we all have that little voice in the back of our heads going "what the f am I doing?!" I think Mel is the manifestation of that little voice. 😂 I get where you're coming from though. All viewers should be taken into consideration. She could use words like "friggin" or simply the letter haha

Yes, using profanity consistently makes it appear that the person's vocabulary is limited. There is a long list of adjectives in the English language that can be utilized. So either the person speaking has a limited vocabulary or the person is taking the lazy path of communicating. I would also add to the morning routine the habit of brushing one's hair after brushing their teeth. I J S. I first saw Mel on The Today Show. Certainly I don't believe that a woman is required to wear make up. However, there's something to be said about a person taking a couple baby steps in taking some pride in their appearance.

I waited 20 mins for advice and what this video was supposed to offer help with and I had to stop because she never got to the point. Her script caused her to procrastinate getting to the point. Couldn't and won't finish.
