There's nothing prettier than exposed beams in a house like that. It just adds to the character of the place. Every time I watch this I have to pause and look at those corner stones and how perfect they are. Whoever set those had experience at it. They just make the outside of the house so nice to look at. Мне очень нравится делать что-то самостоятельно - мебель ремонтировать, делать ремонт дома или благоустраивать участок.. люблю инструменты.. но такого терпения нет! Стараюсь, стараюсь, а потом бац! и закончу как попало!))) И уже не нравится как получилось(( А Вы, ну просто, пример терпеливости и аккуратности! Супер!)

Good morning 🌞 Luxon from Alabama. I am in a good mood. One of my dogs has been at the vet all week. Wouldn't eat an we have been so worried. But this morning he was up an eating. What a relief,an now a new video hereto watch. Great work,an care you take in renovation. You would get a great deal of work here in the USA. Camera great idea, we put up 4 cameras this summer. We may add 1or2 more.

Are the people who built the original hut back in 1957 still alive? I hope they are because it would be really cool to show them what you have done to it. Another great installment! I find wood grain, i.e. knots, swirls, etc. truly fascinating, and I loved how it all appeared under your planer and sander. Nature is so wonderful, providing you AND us with so many gifts and often where we least expect them. The stain you chose is very nice and does that old venerable wood a great honor. @@luxonbushcraft Yes, the entire planet is getting hit with solar storms. We're getting them too. Totally destroyed one of my greenhouses. You can expect worse winds to come. P.S. If I had skills like you, master wood worker, my greenhouse probably would of stood a bit better.🤣

Da das Haus abgelegen liegt, habe ich eine Kamera aufgestellt, weil ich Schuhabdrücke gesehen habe, damit niemand auf die Idee kommt, einzubrechen und meine Werkzeuge zu stehlen (wie wenn man ein teures Werkzeug unbeaufsichtigt lässt). Wir haben nur Nebel und Nordwind. Ich freue mich auf den Schnee und warte darauf. Genieße dein Wochenende, mein Freund, und bis nächsten Freitag

Your attention to detail absolutely blows my mind. I love how detailed. No matter how big the job or small. Even building small cabins and putting up a picture of your dog and curtains. Taking care of your tools. Where’d you get or learn such a massive amount of different skill sets if you don’t mind my asking? It’s literally endless. Fabricating your own metal, processing your own lumber, etc… Most folks are good at one area. Yours skill set seems endless. I always see something new each video that makes me say just wow.

The old boards will be replaced with new ones, and that's good. Although the old ones still look quite decent, but I have not been there and did not check them with a chisel, and rot is not excluded if the roof was leaking. I also liked the protection of the beams, the old oak that is covered with drying oil will look vintage in the appropriate interior.

There is something wonderful about putting a nice coat of lacquer or stain on wood. The girls think they know where you are going with this but I think they are fooling with me. We watched this video while enjoying diner this evening. The camera is a very good idea for many reasons but I hope you only collect animals in the camera. No intruders. The planer was a brilliant idea to bring out the best the wood can be. You are showing everyone how to make a forest home absolutely beautiful my friend. Me and the girls are so proud of you!!! This project just keeps getting better. The new flooring, I’m sure, will look awesome. Please give Lajka a pat for me. That’s the only thing I miss, we don’t get to see him as much. But he certainly is enjoying that bone.
