From 17 January - 30 January 2024 the World Poker Tour will run its WPT Championship series at Nagaworld.
This is happening in the backdrop of Ms Chhim Sithar, union president representing Nagaworld employees, being jailed by Cambodian authorities. This has outraged western government and human rights groups, with the United States awarding Ms Sithar its prestigious Human Rights Defender Award and calling for her immediate release.
