Nice video. Sure do miss seeing Wilko on tour as he would be such a nice contrast to the current guys. Personally I think his backside surfing in big chunky Jeffreys Bay those couple of years was next level and on par with the best goofyfooters ever at J Bay. Heavy call but accurate . Not to mention those huge rampaging backside lip bashes at Big Sunset Beach. People should go find that footage and recognize how next level those backside turns of his are in macking waves.

Wilko shreds, this was the only clips I had of him surfing but I've watched him surf bigger waves before and he can hold his own against the best. This new surf generation could learn a lot from his carves and quick style, for sure.

I have been looking for a clip of WIlko's turn in large JBay quarter final against Parko. Maybe 7 or 8 years ago? I dunno. If you saw it, you'd know the turn I'm talking about. Any tips?
