@@H.L.S.98 between 2004-2007 Pro evolution socer had fifa beat on gameplay. Only problem was the features and sponsors and manager mode.

There genuinely hasn't been a better football game since. The mechanics for PES5 were near perfect and the goals so satisfying. So many fond memories playing this back in the day.

The ball physics in PES 2005 was ahead of it's time. Damn near just as good as Fifa 2022

Yeah, I remember going from fifa 2003 (not sure) to pes and the difference was so huge. PES was completely revolutionary in this regard

Damn, in 2005 I was 18yo, playing this game with my two best friends for literally thousands of hours, even winning the local PES tournaments. Some really nice memories. 🥰

The best football sim ever. It was hard to master, hard to score, but damn worth it when you did. You really had to put in the time and effort to get good. Loved it and still have it :)

That's a great way to put it. Fifa always felt like you weren't fully in control. This felt satisfying.

That outside of the foot pass....light years ahead of its time.

Я лишь одно хочу сказать касаемо этой игры,если разработчики ставили цель сделать футбол с самым симулирующим искуственным интеллектом то у них это прекрасно получилось,к игрокам ИИ даже прикоснуться страшно падают от любого воздействия на них, горит у меня от этого просто адским пламенем

In my opinion while PES wasn't as successful as the FIFA series, the graphics were far superior. For example the players looked more realistic as did the gameplay.
