I love how she's both the goth friend and the mom friend of the group. @@Kitty55634 Only it's actually confirmed she's bi by the people at Pixar. Saying it in the movie was axed by Disney however. A lot of Tyler's story was cut for the same reason. Higher ups were paranoid they couldn't show the movie in some countries due to censorship of LGBTQ+ characters. There was a fair bit of freakout when they included the officer in Outward mentioning her girlfriends kids, and I do believe the line was altered or cut in some countries. But they did get to keep in a few more subtle nods that homophobes would likely not notice, but the queer community would instantly pick up on. Like her with the goth girl. Or Tyler fanboying at the concert.
