Private Snafu - Censored (1944)
The Army-Navy Screen Magazine Number 31, 1944
03 Private Snafu - Censored: Short animated film about the importance of censorship.
The Army-Navy Screen Magazine was produced by the U.S. Army Signal Corps Pictorial Service, under the supervision of Col. Frank Capra, who came up with the idea. It was released twice a month and shown to military troops as a 20-minute newsreel.

For those who have been in the military, this is even more entertaining. While we weren't shown films quite like this in the Marines, we did have some entertaining videos shown to us in large theaters.
The "assistant censor" is the best 🤣 damn that guy flies fast. So fast he's almost teleporting. Also Snafu apparently never learned the proper army crawl: You dont stick your buns up in the air!

In meme format, the pigeon could be labelled as a new girl character that was just announced in an upcoming game while the assistant censor represents NSFW Artists, knowing how quick they are to lewdify the new characters.
This is probably even more of an issue now with cellphones having become ubiquitous.

Yeah but it requires the other guy actually intercepting your cellphone ie having the ability. It also means its a lot easier to be found out if you do talk too much.

Well, if you insist. But I’ll hate myself in the morning.

Out of the lost ones, I'm infinitely amused that the one about venereal diseases was made by Disney. Maybe had to do with Mickey teaching the dangers of self medication against STDs. Also, the other conveniently lost is about the weapons of war. Maybe they had teasers about a certain fat boy?
Unless you want to help the enemy, why would you want to get that info out so badly? Why do they always show the Japanese being barefoot?

Wow.
1:48-1:53 seemed like a Tex Avery gag to me.
Is there a postman in the house?
Can you imagine making a training film like that today? At least half a dozen "interest groups" would be seriously butt hurt.

Good thing it doesnt get censor. I liked it the way how it was set in the 40s, a satire is like 1% vibisle to any person.
