This headache rack is a prime example of what to love about this channel. I love the fact so many things are reused/custom made from the local scrap yard.

@@mvcg-cl4cr I kinda disagree with that because sometimes you can get wealthy by being a real man and then use that money to make your life easier, ya know?
Sooo good to see a new video, man. I'm going trough some rough times with my health. Sitting at home for weeks now, can't work. And getting my mind to worry less for 33 minutes is really helpful.

Newport just knocked this cab out of the park. At this stage you must be really anxious to get this rig back on the road. This is more a resurrection than a restoration. Always great content and skills shown.

Just remember that 5 min of work is better than none. And if you can do that once a week then maybe it will turn into a few hours a week etc. Don't give up, the mind has a ton of power over your health. Don't let yourself get discouraged
Theres a neat trick for the hole saw there, the threads on the arbour are usually long enough to put a smaller hole saw inside the big one and it sticks out further to use as a pilot, that's if you have one the right size
Heras is a Dutch company that specializes in perimeter protection. Nice to see a little bit of my country getting recycled into an awesome build 👍🏻

If I am correct Rich himself has a partially Dutch herritage. But cool to see something from our country recycled into truckparts!
Your definitely see potential in stuff others don’t. Its incredible. And lucky Vince can weld anything you throw at him.

I tried this time, because I wanted it to be right, but dang, he's fussy! In all seriousness, it was just on a rack behind the local weld shop
That headache rack is better than anything that can be bought. Absolutely badass
I swear, your mind works on 100% different level. It takes real skill and potential in everything you see. I wasn't sure at first, but seeing those bars done, it looks awesome.
Always measure your brake chamber pushrod length from the mounting face of the chamber to the center of the Clevis pin hole with the pushrod fully retracted. Measuring off of the threads is a quick way to get it wrong, different chambers have the threads cut at different lengths.
The Absolute King of creative recycling and working smarter. An artist. As a guy who works alone you keep me motivated. Thanks bud!
This is the best project on KZread hands down! Love your work Rich
Out of all your re-purpousing of materials, this headache rack has to be the most impressive. It legit looks like it was manufactured from scratch for this application
Was just finishing my lunch break and saw this....looks like I'm going to be 33 minutes late going back to work 😆
Kitty seems Happy! :)
that is such a massive undertaking, its crazy how one man with enough determination can get done

Bringing back memories of my heavy duty course in college. We chopped up an old Freightliner to make room in our yard. I cut the frame rails just forward of the front rear axle and installed a shop air system into it for brakes, bags and air 5th wheel. Took the treadle valve and hand valve out of the cab and attached them to the frame. Built it as a training tool, you could get two people on each axle to do their brake/bearing practice. In a small shop it didn’t take up as much room as a full truck, and you could see how the brakes worked.
Heras is a Dutch Fencing builder, started in 1952 and has it's headquarters in Oirschot near Eindhoven in the South of the Netherlands. Those guys are Gate builders like you never saw. I mean Fort knox's security gates is a day in the park for them.
There is nothing better than making something out of nothing or almost nothing. Love the headache rack/intake exhaust mount/chicken lights extraordinaire...
Always love it when Vince is in the video, the guy is awesome!

Between this build and the tank build your really knocking out some great entertainment man. The poxy customs are hold my hat I ordered ransom till I pay the duty on it 😅
I could watch you do 100 trucks just like this. This is awesome!
The lights on the stacks are going to look fantastic Rich. Wiring them to the brake lights could be a bit much but they'd look pretty impressive if you connected them to the turn signals.😁👍
Rich, on your way to the Freedom Factory this summer with that cabover, you better be careful on your way through Tennessee. Tim Gentry is liable to hijack that truck from you. 😆
The K100 is looking really damn good Rich, good stuff
Man Rich you really are an amazing fabricator, builder.
A headache would be trying remember how to put humpty dumpy back together again! Keep up the good work!
You have made easily the best video content on the net IMHO.

Sitting on my couch enjoying my Sunday morning coffee and just shaking my head in amazement. Hands down the nicest damn cab over and come on, that headache rack is just insane
I'm loving the lights and back rack. I'm really thinking you need to put her on a cow wagon at least once. She will fit right in
Absolutely will be a showpiece and a one off when u are done. Looks great keep up the good work.
The creativity and repurposing that goes on on this channel is part of what makes it so great, who'd have thought to use an old prison gate as a headache rack on a big rig, and there is no such thing as excessive when it comes to lights on a big rig 😁

Cab Over Saturday morning!!!! I freaking LOVE IT!!!! Morning Rich from BC!!! Definitely my favorite channel on yt!! 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦❤️
Soooo much easier when ya got a good neighbour 👍👍🇬🇧🇨🇦
That headache rack with the lights, exhaust pipes and the intake pipes is going to look awesome, I like the way you think Rich.
You need clock tank so the triple boss is up or it will not vent correctly, it needs the air space at the top.
You can use a second hole saw the size of the existing hole threaded into the big one to act as your guide. Less fiddling. And holds itself in place.
HERAS is the trademark of an industry that is located in a (small) village (where I live) in the south of the Netherlands. HERAS is famous for building fences and gates all over the world. I bet that they would be amazed to see you using their product for the fantastic stacks you are building.
She is looking great!!
Such a killer build guys!
This is going to be one heck of a looker truck. Gosh I need it
Crickey Ritch, I hope you have a shed, to house your fantastic looking Cabover, to keep it out of the weather when not in use.
This build is absolutely amazing. This and your Chummins are my favorites so far.
Looks really good Rich, was worth drilling out those holes. I had no opinion either way until I saw how good they looked after you drilled then all out. Worth the extra couple hours. Trying to convince my new wife a honeymoon in Canada will be nice for the snow.. haven't told her yet I'm going to plan it around one of your shows..
Nice job repurposing that aluminum gate. Hit up Caswell Plating for good polishing supplies. Not affiliated but it's where I used to pick up a lot of my polishing supplies when I was doing piles of two and three piece BBS' and other stuff. The greaseleas polish they have works excellent and is pretty quick to use rather than regular Emory, tripoli, white rouge, etc. Looks fantastic, can't wait to see the piping all ran.😁👍
Lotta work fabricating and welding but super unique and amazing. Love the way you think
Had a shop work on a ‘96 Pete trying to move the 5th wheel, they gave up after using an industrial forklift and a pay loader to try to jar it loose. Crazy to see yours move so easy
That is a real show stopper! Great work as always.
Excellent job on headache rack Looks KILLER KOOL The hole truck is looking good
That head ache rack is very nice love that truck good to see you again have a great weekend buddy
I threw my back out this morning working on a skid steer. Thanks for putting up a new video so I have something to do lying here in bed. Plus it’s the cab over, which makes it even better.
Wow Rich, you've been busy!! Looks great, and you should be proud!!
It's looking good glad to see you using other things to build not just buying from a store.

Hey Rich, I’m in New Brunswick considering flying to Saskatchewan and driving a 63 chev 1 ton back east. Hoping to be passing through Ontario during the show!!!! Stoked!!! 6 cylinder 4 speed. Lol.
I absolutely love the paint job!
Wow looking good. Can't wait to see the finished truck. I used to have a 90 K100. Kicking my ass I sold it.
I used to love riding in COE trucks as a kid in the late 80s , especially in West Virginia mountains they were scary and fun to ride in. 🙌✌
Looks good Rich!
The fabrication is great !
Some ones trash is another treasure.
This is a work of art just beautiful a true credit to you and your teams skill and workmanship. Cheers for the vid
Wow that's amazing. I'm a truck driver here in the states. I love what you are doing with it. I'm also a mechanic and I can really appreciate what is going into it. Next summer I'm planning on building a 1 ton mini cabover truck. I'll probably be stealing some ideas from lol.

Just got my Deboss Hat and Tee Shirt and I love it, but what I enjoy the most is your Channel Riche, Its one of my all time favorites. It's a good thing you neighbor has the exact same truck as you, you definitely scored there didn't you. Imagine the headaches autobody and Mechanics had to deal with before cell phones. The exhaust is going to look sweet.
Great looking head ache rack rich proper job 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💪✊😎🏴☠️🇬🇧
Great work as usual Rich & crew, beautiful ol K Whopper!
Awesome build!!!!!
This channel is awesome.
Love the way the truck is coming along
That truck looks amazing ! Love what you’ve done with it
Beautiful work!!! Look's Amazing 👍❤️
Beautiful truck. Love them cabovers. Started trucking in seventies. Great work.
Beautiful truck! That headache rack is sweet!
That is creative. Very awesome
Excelente trabalho amigos...Excelente work
This is such a awesome build . It’s amazing to see this truck have a new life 😎
I usted to work for Heras. It's a old former family owned company based in the Netherlands. The blue line is indeed just a sticker. Those profiles are normally not used for prisongates. They have more durable solutions for these sort of applications...
Great Video, this is is going to be one of the best cab overs I’ve seen in a while. This show’s your craftsmanship for real how you can take something and put new life to it. Keep up the good work✌🏽
Nice work Rich, truck is looking great, I like the forward front axle verses the setback axle. Ingeinous pipe support system, great work.
Looking really sharp love your paint scheme totally different
Just love it, it will be more than awesome when it's finished! Greets from Luxembourg / Europe!
Heras prison fence posts? Hhhmmm, I see a headache rack! Does your imagination know no bounds? I used to work for Heras in the UK and our prison posts were made from 8" steel pipe! Not as pretty as the ones you found. Love all the content 👍👍👍👍👍
El mejor contenido, te sigo desde Argentina y estoy cada día mas sorprendido de tus habilidades
Great idea repurposing the prison gates, there’s a lot of great stuff at scrap yards and the inventory is usually constantly changing so as long as you’re willing to do a little modifying you can build some really cool custom one off stuff like your back rack 👍 love what u do brother, keep the vids coming
Looks awesome guys!

i love your vision for this rig. its going to look really sharp.
I love the old school clean lots of Bling . Nice !👌🏻
Looks really nice. Great job on the repurposing. Can’t wait to see it lit up with the pipes next to it.
Vince knows his metals
Just as a neat fact thinking about old metal being hard to weld. Someone tested the sodium/potassium penetration of a 18" steel base pillow block bearing that was in a wet-service area in a potash mine for like 20 years. The result was that the Na/K had basically penetrated the metal effecting weld repair enough to scrap the part..Wild, but I do understand Vince's pain with contamination of aluminum from age and especially salt.
Awesome job, can't wait to see the end result. Keep up the good work💪💪. Regards from the Netherlands
Looking good! Can’t wait to see it lit up in the day and better in the night. 🤘🏼🤠
The rack looks awesome can't wait to see all those lights lit
Optimus Prime's going into town suit! Looks stunning Guys!!!
