I would say NA is actually keeping the cab-behind-engine legacy alive, everywhere else cabovers are the norm since the 70s

Living in Kentucky most of my life I've had my fair share of mud dauber nest being a pain in the neck. They're a type of wasp Rich. As a commercial truck tech I was cringing most of the video when talking about the air systems and the trans air lines lol Glad you were able to take her the show. It's a beautiful truck Rich.

Who doesn’t love a little poke yoke? The bugs are called dirt dobbers. I’ve never encountered them anywhere in Canada. I’ve been to Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and am an Albertan. They look like wasps, but don’t bite. They’re everywhere here in Texas. Such a cool project and I’m really happy to see it rolling now (even if I saw it rolling on the other video lol)

There is something about those old cabovers that really appeals to me...and apparently many others. This is an especially nice one.

I just ran across this video and your channel. Very nice to see someone start projects and not abandon them. It looks like your heart is in it for the right reasons and not just trying to be a wanna be KZread star like Tim Gentry.

For me, this whole truck is Pretty Kool, but the fact you put a cabover on a non cabover frame is just crazy amazing I love big jobs that aren't supposed to work but im not kidding that seemed like it was going to be near impossible to get it to work.. now I want to do it rather than do a frame stretch. doubt I will but sure looks like a ton of fun.. appreciate you having the "stones" to attempt it and knock it out of the park... Rite On!!!

Oh, I think we already saw it running, Rich. I think this is my favourite build of yours. The Audi was good, but not this good.

This is one of my dream’s, a nice shop to build big trucks and everything else. Takes deep pockets to build with the big boys, but they can pay for themselves, that’s a good return on the investment.

ive been plugging away at my new engine and transmission for my MR2 all winter and about to put it back into the car. Your channel and great ambition has helped me push forward in my own projects. Hope to one day drive up from New Brunswick and check out the shop someday.

You did an excellent job getting that Kenworth k100 cab over up and running. After it's been restored, and it's parts replaced, you rebuilt it from the ground up. Now All that remains is for you to get all the lights working make sure the brake lights are functional and it passes all US-DOT specifications and safety standards.

I reckon you have sufficient rear lighting there, Rich 😁 Man, she preeedy and she sounds great 😎 Wishing you good luck with your driving tuition and test!

I don't know a lot about HD trucks but, I know what I like when I see it and this Kenworth is an absolute beauty, a bonny and potentially a joy forever.

That last statement alone makes it all worth it. Building a kenworth in 6 months from the ground up is a major FEAT for sure and I give you props my dude!

You'll never make it as an Entomologist Rich ;) And yes, we have Mud Daubers in Canada. Mud dauber is a name commonly applied to a number of wasps from either the family Sphecidae or Crabronidae which build their nests from mud; this excludes members of the family Vespidae, that are instead referred to as "potter wasps". Mud daubers belong to different families and are variable in appearance. BUT, you make on hell of a wrench Sir.

What a great looking cab over. Fell in love with them back in the 70’s. A company in Windsor ON, ICL,had a broker division and those guys used the K100’s almost exclusively at one time hauling steel coils out of Hamilton. Classy then classic now. Great work and great attitude. Love the channel

That Cat 3406B sounds really nice. I did love the sound of the Cat's such as the 3406B on the 623B and the 3408B on the 631D when I was driving scoops.

Man that sounds goood! That old mechanical turbo diesel sound 😍 I sell spares nowadays at a big mainline dealer, and modern turbo diesels sound pretty lousy compared to this.

You chose the perfect red Rich, it’s almost identical to the red that I’ve chosen for my wife’s car wheels and engine 👌🏻 I’ve got one of those crimp kits with jaws for cutting rebar, they work amazing in my honest opinion 😄
