@@JMAC-rs6ey It's in my blood too. Dad and Uncle. Tell him I said HE makes me proud to be a trucker!
God bless that man for saving one of the rarest cabovers ever made! It would so awesome if he still worked it. Could image seeing that running down the interstate!
This is an example of good men being good men towards each other with the respect and humility good men give, expect, and appreciate.
In "82 I was in 5th grade . We went to visit my grandparents in Blackwell, OK. My grandpa took us to visit Clifford (when his shop was in Blackwell). I remember that hull of a cab, sitting on the concrete floor. Probably one of the many influences I could accredit (or blame lol) for my love of trucks/trucking. Two years ago, had a load into okc and stopped by to chat. I asked him about the bull nose I had seen as a kid. You could hear the disappointment in his voice when he said, "No..its gone". Glad to see it's back home where it belongs. A big wave of the hand to the Wilkins family from the Hoods.
Alex you could of spent another 20 minutes looking at this truck, I still have all these questions in my mind. Keep up the good work.

it also has none of that modern fiberglass crap in it, it's all steel plating. Built very solidly, they don't do that anymore, sadly.

Awesome Mr Asian Mai show. I could listen to this fine gentlemen for hours back when trucking was full of commradary and drivers actually stopped and talked to one another in the truck stop aet together and helped each other on the side of the road. Would talk on the CB and actually give good feed back now a days everyone's on their own worst part is there's no respect and most guys have NO clue what they are doing.
I give props 👏 to the previous owner who kept it in excellent condition for over 35 years. Simply amazing 👏 👍💯💯🇺🇸
Not only is it a beautiful truck but it was an extra pleasure meeting / seeing the family . Nice folk .
Drivers....these are the guys ya learn from. History, knowledge, experience....priceless
Wilkens best place around treat u like family
May God Almighty Bless you grandfather and the family. The REAL AMERICANS.

That is laughable. Most of you guys out there are driving cabovers and dont even know it. Look at your cab is it as wide as a cabover? Do you have a set back axle? Well you are driving a cabover with a hood. The hood is to make you think it is a conventional. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love these folks. Love walking around their yard too with all the old conventional trucks and cabovers
This gentleman and his trucks are the Real McCOY! This Right Here! is the type of interviews/videos that brought me to this channel..👍 👌 What an amazing story!
As an aspiring truck driver and soon to be truck driver. I can’t explain how wonderful this makes me feel. That Kenny is so awesome! And it’s a 55!? 😳 Absolutely amazing truck and the stories behind it.

When we were boys, we really admired the big KWs; such fabulous machines.
What an amazing story that he is reunited with his truck. Thanks for sharing.
So glad automotive history is still being preserved.
Grandpa is a great person. I love his energy
Love the older trucks, back then they had a personality to them.
The Man (Grandpa) is a living legend! My sincere respect to him. I am myself at the process of doing papers for trucks back here in Ireland. Was always mad about trucks as my father used to drive them. Great piece of american motorization history from Teamster's time😉! Lads! Is there a chance to show all inside of this beauty😁?
I love this tyoe of business where everyone is family. Doing what you are passionate about and coming in will be like not coming to work but to play and enjoy. The layout of the shop and office just marvellous. Love it love it all and i am very envious.
As a driver myself. I have to thank you for showing us this piece of history. They don't make them like this anymore. Today trucks don't last.
Awesome. Love these videos and that guy and his family are incredible
I used to spend a lot of time in the early 80's at the King 8 hauling Ca. to Vegas. Damn those were the good old days. It was a truck stop, motel and casino back then. They used to have a band play live in the tiny casino and I met Ray Charles there at the bar one night and he ended up doing a few songs with the band.

@Moda Care I stayed at the Kings 8 whenever I was in Vegas in the late 70s early 80s. They had a guy in the parking lot that would polish your aluminum wheels and tanks for a very reasonable price. I actually won a lot of money at their crap table over the years. Trucking was still good back then.
What a rare piece of history. First time seeing one of these.
Wow those trucks are better condition than most of the trucks on the road now. It's absolutely beautiful. 😍
Wow what a story. Wish it went for longer. 👍
I used to stop in that place almost weekly and walked around the bone yard for parts. Really cool place and really cool trucks!
Love how it’s a family business
Smile on that guy‘s face shows that the old trucks will never die
You have to have a sit down and talk with him because he is cool Would love to hear some of his stories
👍👍 YES ! I couldn't listen to him talk about that truck more. That was one truck I really did enjoy seeing that !
I drove one back in the 80's hauling machinery and steel. 250 cumapart and a 4x4. Cool old girl, but hot in the summer and cold in the winter LOL.
Wow what a beautiful looking machine!
I met Cliff back in July. That day I got to see this truck. This truck and all the others were phenomenal. I love going to Wilkins for 389 and 359.
I used to drive a 62 B model Mack and owned a 72 F model ...made more money per month with that one than any other truck I ever owned .
Absolutely gorgeous interior, what a cool truck!

Wow what a spectacular classic. I've never seen one . I hope that one day at a truck show I'll get to. It's kinda like the old Marmon and Diamond Reo. You hardly see them anymore except at a show
Oh look at that gorgeous lady! Glad she was saved
Wow that was great. As a kid living in Oregon and still seeing mainly freightliners bullnose with the funky exhaust stacks with round camber at the top that wound glow cherry red and at night going down the highway would look neat.
I'm loving these cabover videos, night an 84' and it's almost ready to hit the road
Thanks grandpa, love the old trucks and stories
That's a real nice Bullnose right there. Wish there were more owners out there that would share those beautiful Kenworth's!
Need to see more of this truck and this man’s story. Also inside the sleeper. That family looks like they have a great collection of trucks and stories. I’ll check your posts but just in case you haven’t, please go back there.
I saw this gentleman and the truck that is in the background about 5 years ago on I 90 near chesterton Indiana. It was a beautiful summer night about 10 pm..I saw grandpa and his truck as he stopped at one of those toll road rest stops. It was such a beautiful truck with cool lighting that I admired it and remember ...there is an older fella like me still working and loving it. Wow.
Hi from a very hot South Africa...thankyou for your service to the trucking community.. you have great content.. love to see vids like these.. all the best bud..

What a great story....just a hard working man and his family..
So cool folks are keeping these old trucks alive. Thanks for sharing this. The truck couldn’t be owned by a nicer man.
Bro what epic content, I absolutely love this old iron , I’m working on a a 1979 W-900 A , just got it this past summer, I can’t wait to get it back on the road .
Super awesome truck and thanks for the interview!

Nice rig. Nice shop. Everything is perfect.
Wow, that is an absolute beauty. I love it! Thanks for showing us this one of a kind truck 🤠
BEAUTIFUL!!! MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!
What a bad ass looking old rig! I can`t believe he got it back in the condition that it almost left in!
Cool! It looks like a KW and a UPS truck got together for one wild and crazy night on the town! Great video!
WOW ....VERY NICE TRUCK ! Thanks for the beautiful video ! Love US TRUCKS ! Watching from Germany ❤
Beautiful truck from the good old days. What old timer could forget seeing this rig edging closer while riding in the family Country Squire as you descended through the mountains on a two lane highway on the way to a Florida vacation.
I'm from New Zealand.. and I drive a road Ranger concrete truck but out of all the great videos iv seen .. this will most fill with great humility and lots of love. I know might be strange words.. but it was just so honest. and that's what it means to be true kiwi. thanks guys. I'm not so good with this u tube thing. but.. I just loved it. thanks from kiwi land.. love this video.
I've been in there several time, these are great people.
❤loved that piece of trucking history
What a beauty, story, truck and man.👍👍🙏🙏
I swear if I ever hit the jackpot I'd want to find a company to build me one from scratch, it's a beautiful truck. I didn't even know about these kind until just a few days ago when I stumbled across a random pic of one.
My dad drove some Bullnose Kenworth cabovers back in the day, hauling cows sheep pigs & hay bailes. I love the turquoise colored 359 model Peterbilt in the background.
What a beautiful story and a beautiful truck and a fantastic man I wish it was still that way proud to be a trucker.
Yessir , the King 8, that was a truck stop ! 😁🤠👍
Oh my goodness... thats a living legend of the automobile world
MY WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK and what a great grandpaw you are one lucky girl !
Grandpa Cliff, and his story are super cool. Would have loved to see much more of that piece of history. It's a great truck. My Dad hauled steel in the '60s and '70s. Started with a B model Mack. All of my best memories of him are with his truck.
Nice find. What a unique truck 🚒
