Prison deprived me of my father-I want him back | Rattling the Bars
The prison system keeps millions of families from celebrating Father's Day together. For Alexia Pitter of Families Against Mandatory Minimums, separation from her father, Gasi Pitter, has been a lifelong reality. Kept from even embracing her father during prison visits as a child, Alexia's struggle to build and maintain a relationship with Gasi has required taking on the entire prison system. After believing for many years her father would never be released, Alexia is now fighting for her father's release. Rattling the Bars explores this story of a brave daughter's love, and one family's determination to resist.

Her father thinks so too. That's awesome.
Very great program
Amazing keep pushing, this world is temporary, God is watching and knows your efforts, They are not in vain
I wonder if Libby ever thinks about if what she did was really justified, it’s not true, they’re not saving anyone just larping and ruining some very amazing kids lives.
I feel for the children more than anyone in these situations. The incarcerated don't really think about the long term effect of their actions. However, some actions will never negate harsh life long sentences without possibility to parole and reform. Where is the reform for long term incarceration? No person should ever be locked away for something unless it's murder in cold blood. Inhumane is a great word for how they've been treated. Everyone changes with age.

Yeah, read my comment above -he's charged with multiple counts of pre-planned murder.
Isn't her father incarcerated for murder? I feel it should be up to the victims family more so than the perpetrators.
If you do the crime, shouldn’t you do the time?
His actions deprived you of your father. You're really quick to blame everyone else-no real surprise.

@@joyful_tanyathank you, i don’t agree that you should send people to jails ( only someone who kill ).. they can send theme to work in north pol or Sahara or any place and teach them to be better people. I believe that jail is not the solution. So proud of this woman 🤲🤲

@faydiborio I feel more than just murderers should be in prison. Don't you think rape, molestation, crimes against children or any crime that involved physical abuse should be in prison?
