Prismatic glasses are often helpful to people with impaired vision. They are used for reading and can make it much easier. In this video Stephen, a nice man with Stargardt Disease, describes his experience with them very well.

Yup. Lens tech here, 22 years old. my 5D works nearly perfect at near for my B-out lazy eye(8-14in) after that, nope, nope nope, And I know neurolens exists, but then how on Earth am I able to create adaptive prism in my regular prism blank? I'm dumbfounded by that only time and reprogramming the edger will tell.

A few days ago I got prismatic plus lenses for reading too. It's amazing! But when I read for a longer time my double vision comes back. Do I need more prisms? Do I have to go back to my optometrist?

I’m glad that the prismatics are helping you. You need to go back to your optometrist for a solution to the double vision.
Can prism glasses help me? I get seizures and severe pain when I try to read, it’s horrible, eye doctors say my vision is fine

Prismatic glasses and other low vision glasses are prescribed by a low vision optometrist who will evaluate your vision and determine what is going to be most helpful for you you. I am in Virginia.
