Priscilla Presley CRIES Over Elvis Presley & Addresses Age Gap

Ойын-сауық

Priscilla Presley cried while remembering her late ex-husband, Elvis Presley. The 78-year-old attended the Venice Film Festival on Monday for the premiere of "Priscilla," the Sofia Coppola film centered on her romance with the King of Rock & Roll. Priscilla spoke out during the film's press conference about how it felt to watch the movie. "Elvis would pour his heart out to me, his fears, his hopes, the loss of his mother which he never ever got over, and I was the person who really sat there to listen and to comfort him," she said. She also addressed their controversial age gap, as Elvis was 24 and Priscilla was 14 when they first met. "I was a little bit older in life than in numbers and that was the attraction. And you know, people think, 'Oh, it was sex.' Not at all. I never had sex with him. He was very kind, very soft, very loving. But he also respected the fact that I was only 14 years old. We were more in mind and thought. And that was our relationship," she revealed.

I hope that this is it. There is nothing else for her to say or tell about Elvis. Her Presley life finishes here. I have been an Elvis fan for over 60 years and I hope that he is now able to rest in peace. He was an incredible entertainer. He gave so much to his fans. He deserves a private life. The world didn't own him. He was a human being. Rest now Elvis and thank you.

Why Hollywood keep rehashing old stories? They cannot write a new story?

This is based on a book about Priscilla’s life that she approved so this isn’t actually rehashing anything it’s her story told with her approval. There are no new ideas there are probably five stories that every generation retells and recreates as their own. Everything is a new version of what’s come before. Oh and get an education a biography and biopic aren’t old stories they are history that’s how history becomes history people record it. America is the land of idiots.

Does the ending include just how much money Priscilla has made off her EX-husband in the 46 years since his death? Does it include anything about the 22 year relationship she had with Marco Garibaldi, the father of her other child? Does it include her making him sign an NDA that prohibits him from writing a book about their relationship in the event of a break up or her death in the same way Priscilla wrote a book about Elvis? Did it include the part about Priscilla banning Linda Thompson from flying on the Lisa Marie to his funeral, the woman Elvis moved on with after his marriage and was his girlfriend for nearly the rest of his life, because Priscilla did not want to share the media spotlight with another woman Elvis loved just so Priscilla could start shaping the narrative of being the main woman in Elvis' life which is what she is still doing today. It's a narrative that unfortunately, only Elvis fans, know is not true.

Priscilla was privileged to make the amount of money she made as E ex. Good for her. She can't take it with her when she dies. Her grandchildren more than likely already has trusts set up for them. An NDA with Marco was a good thing. No gossip and by the way he was a biggamist, go figure that. Why would she share or leave Elvis hard earned money with him. Linda is still trying to be relevant in Elvis life. She cheated on him too with a band member. Ginger took care of that. Elvis sent Linda away he was never going to marry her. She is still jealous of Priscilla. Elvis please embrace your mom, Lisa, Ben & Vernon. RIP You're forever missed.

@@leatrice756 Right. Elvis dies and Priscilla writes a book that paints Elvis in the most unflattering light, to put it mildly, and 46 years later, produces a movie based on that book that portrays Elvis as villain and her as victim but cries about the difficulty of watching the movie she helped make trying to offset the negativity this movie and she has heaped onto his memory & legacy while putting money in the bank not based on anything she's done herself despite the movie being named Priscilla. If this were a true movie about her life story then it would not feature only the time she spent with the father of one of her children but the real truth is that Elvis is the only reason why people know her at all.

The only reason I like to hear what she has to say or narrate about Elvis, is bacause I visualize her descriptions and wish they were true in the sake of Elvis. The beatifully described moments bring tears in my eyes not because of getting emotional, but because of sorrow and sadness. Elvis would have deserved all that and even much more. And it feels good to visualize him happy.... And then I get mad and visualize myself chocking her....

It was a bit more acceptable back then. Girls were getting married at 14 & 15 in some states to older men. They were more mature back then and they looked older. At least that’s what remember. I had high school friends that had 2 or 3 kids by 16, 17 years old and they were more mature. Some of them looked like teachers!

I absolutely agree. Also, the girls/women ALWAYS wanted to go out with the older boys/men because they were the ones that had the cars and money. Everybody gets hung-up on the age so let's be clear, Priscilla was NOT a "naive" person. Prissy grew up on a military base. She was used to being around men. She saw the troops all the time on base, off base, at the base store, etc. That is a different atmosphere than when you are a civilian. Let's not forget how Prissy approached Currie Grant for an introduction to EP. (I'm not even going to get into that now.) Finally, after all of her lies and distortions over the year, Prissy finally said something in this interview that I agree with and that is that "she was more advanced for her years. Interestingly, I remember turning the TV on back in the day and just in time to catch the following: Prissy was being interviewed by this female reporter. I'm not sure what the reporter's question was, but Prissy's response was "Elvis taught her other ways on how to pleasure him." The reporter said something else and then Prissy said, "Oh, you're making me blush."
