AI is becoming the biggest online scam in e-commerce. How many videos have been posted to KZread promoting the idea that all you need to do is plug a few words into an image generator, then take the output and put it on a T-Shirt and before you know it, you'll be making $10,381 a month. The whole influencer thing is pissing me off.

AI isn't the problem--it's the people making videos like the one being described here, and convincing people that they can make money overnight. There are LOTS of people (myself included) who use AI and are aware enough to know that nothing comes easy. Hard work is always required in order to achieve the level of success they claim to have.

While watching a different youtuber show their real revenue it said something like $3500 HOWEVER it also said $2000 spent in ads. What!? They never even mentioned it. That's fine still a profit but of the hundreds of hours of videos i watched not one said anything about paying for ads or how high the competition actually was. I was also rejected for Amazon merch. They would say you can't do this because it's an infringement, one day she was showing her orders of samples from different printers on Printify and she opened the bag's and they were actual VERY MUCH INFRINGEMENT"S yet she's telling us no do not do this, she would never reveal her shop name and I found someone that sent me a screenshot of her shop and it's full of infringements and she does videos on here PAID videos all over, makes you stop and go 🤔🤔🤔🤔 I finally unsubscribed from her page, I don't wanna fund someone that's a fraud! I appreciate you replying, keep up the amazing work🥰Sincerely, April

There’s 2 types of people. Those who are successful and have a business and want to teach others. And those that make a business out of teaching others. Both are ok if done correctly. If you’re the second person then be honest and say you’re just giving advice but have no real life experience in it. Generally Joshua is a great guy I don’t think he means any harm and his videos are usually helpful. I just think he made a mistake with this one

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I deleted all of my POD items (most had never sold anyway) after a disastrous experience with Printify. I managed to sell 2 Solar Eclipsd water bottles to a really great customer. After telling me BS for a week that it hadn’t shipped due to poor quality of the printing requiring reprinting, they notified me the printer was out of stock until 4 days after the eclipse! I had long concluded that the majority of KZread videos on selling on Etsy are the actual money-makers, not the products they are selling in their 6-figure-a-year shops. ❤ Shirley

I watched one of his videos a few years ago and realized he was a scammer. Honestly, many KZreadrs discussing print on demand are scammers who haven't sold anything online. They're just good at talking. Most excel at KZread, not online sales. With my experience in online selling, it's easy to spot them when they start talking.

The problem is that these aren't entrepreneurs, really. I think there really needs to be a distinction between these fast money scammers and actual entrepreneurs looking to develop a real e-commerce business. There's a lot of people who just hate their 9 to 5 and want to "make money on the Internet." They're not entrepreneurs either and typically have no business being in business.

I detest all the lies you find on KZread about POD, Etsy, Amazon etc. they are all valid methods to make money but they all require lots of hard work and determination. They won't make you rich in a month. I have watched some of these videos and even followed some of the advice BUT all the products I sold on my POD Etsy shop were my own ideas when I followed my own instinct rather than some paid tools. I don't want to find what is selling and copy other people's ideas. 1000s of other people are doing exactly the same.
