This video deals with the principles and techniques involved in Nerve repair and reconstruction. Methods of preparing the nerve ends, how to do an epineural suturing, fascicular repair and what suture material to use. The video also deals with the decision making when there is a small gap between the nerve ends, and when there is a bigger gap between the nerve ends.
The use of nerve autografts, nerve allografts, acellular nerve grafts and nerve conduits are discussed in detail.
