+Michael Blackshire Was about to say the same thing about his appearance: The man was a legendarily American Rock 'N Roll artist mixed with Funk, Pop-Soul with some traditional R&B with a pop-star's style sometimes mixed with his own brand of Neo Psychodelic. And to top it all off, he dressed for the '85 Oscars basically like his own cosplay version of a Purple Sith Lord from the expanded Star Wars Universe. @Tony Purple Rain is very much the sound of Prince & the Revolution playing, and adding to, a Prince song. The chords at the start are Wendy's, the outro keyboard riff, doubled by Prince on guitar, was Matt's.

Thank God for Prince, this quiet shy man with enormous talent. He's blessed us all.

Wendy & Lisa where so pretty and they also loved Prince very much. I was a little saddened in find out the group broke up in 1987. I also love the clothing style Prince and his band was sporting during the that era.
