I haven't watched this episode yet but just read the comments and look forward to the Hallmark Xmas movie discussion. I live on the West Coast of Canada where some of these films have been shot...it is always fun to walk by a lawn in July covered in cotton batting "snow".

Marina's pause after Piers Morgan's name was mentioned was absolutely fascinating. He's an ex boyfriend I believe? I suppose if I'd gone out with him I wouldn't want to talk about it either.

It's mid-April 2024, and I am catching up on who the monsters of UK life & Pointless have been. Streaming is only something I've done via iPlayer & Sounds just to get some benefit from my tv licence.

One thing to add to the Hallmark Christmas film.. They find a contrived way for the city slicker to lose their Blackberry. Maybe it falls in a lake? Or maybe a child picks it up thinking it's a toy while a super duper important phone call comes through. Resulting in the high flying lady boss to lose her rag, snapping at the poor child, making them cry and resulting in a regret filled apology. Now the high achieving spinster must decide what makes her happy? Will she learn the most important lesson. To live in the moment, to switch off your phone... While eating a pain au chocolat the size of a large toddler. While living with the humble fourth generation delicatessen owner, Johnny Croissant.

For those of you who like the show Friends. You should be watching a show called Living Single. It’s the show the creators of Friends ripped off.

Okay, you guys inspired me to watch "A Castle for Christmas" , Brooke Shields, and look who has a speaking role in the first minute: Desiree Burch! Yay! This is going to be great. And we all know what a great succes the Drew Barrymore show is. I'm writing this the 31 december. New years eve is tonight. Some would say christmas is over, but then others would argue that the christmas season runs through to 6 january, the epiphany, also called three kings' day.

Robbie is late-40s here - he turned 50 this year. The grey hair ages him a lot and he has some chronic health issues (a bad knee, arthritis in his back, low testosterone) that affect his energy levels.

I think I saw one of these Christmas movies you are discussing, it was called Doc Hollywood. But on a more serious note I did once have an accidental kiss, where I went to take a sip from from my soda at the same time that my blind date also went to take a sip from her soda. I don't think the rest of the theater would have had such a strong reaction if it hadn't been right at the one unfunny part of Life Is Beautiful.

OK, as a member of the Sussex Squad, those of us who love Prince Harry and Princess Meghan and their work, will let out the not so secret secret 🤫! In response to the horrific treatment by the British media and unroyal leftover family, Sqaddies across the world, turned their back on the English kings coronation and began rewatching SUITS! The more than 3 million of us told 2 friends who then told 4 friends, etc…..🤗

They didn’t have any horrific treatment. The truth is Megan had some American Disney image of being a princess and when she realised that every aspect of her life was going to be controlled by a very certain etiquette she kicked back like a spoilt child. The problem is Harry was just too weak to lay down the law to her. He will come back because he has lived his life knowing what is expected and unchangeable about being a royal and Megan will get kicked back into obscurity to live as an ex royal.
