I dont think that is what he saying. I think it was more of reflection of now there is something else he is losing. He is losing is mothers looks he is aging. He is balder than me, We are getting old we have les in common. He Used Williams appearance to detail the loss he felt with time passing.William was his only family in a sense and the those age differences are extreme at that age. Every change William goes through he loses what little he has at the moment having never fully dealt with the loss of his mom. You hear him detail this when he describes the weddding of Kate and Will.

My older brother and sister told me not to know them at school, I later told my younger brother and sister ‘pretend not to know me’, I felt awful about it years later but it’s what we did. It was like ‘don’t embarrass me when I’m with my friends’. We are all close though and have grown ever closer the older we’ve got. I’m happy none of them love me the way Harry loves William though

I didn't want to be known as so and so little sister. I want to form my own identity. I told them "don't tell anyone I'm your sister, unless I need you :)"

How true. It always amazes me how when my kids were young they would fuss and squabble with each other so much one could be forgiven for thinking they didn't like each other. But pity the poor soul who picked on my daughter's younger brother and when he got old enough he protected her. They always joined forces against the world yet drove me crazy with the infighting. Go figure.

It was a metaphor, and if you had read the book you would know that he was infact referring to the breaking of a pact, Harry believes William has forgotten what they both agreed as teens to do in the name of their mother, and that was take down the press.

I’m beginning to see exactly how WELL the palace has protected Harry and his image all these years. He really is just an immature, selfcentered, entitled, bitter and hateful man.. I feel sorry for William who lost his mother too and has to deal with his brother doing this now. There is NO(!!) excuse for Harry to throw his family under the bus like this. Even the story about their fight - William came back and apologized! Still Harry sells the story knowing how this will portray his brother, a future King, in the media. William belived his staff’s claim about Meghan mistreating them. Harry won’t hear one negative word about his wife; if he does it’s RACISM OR THE TABLOID MADE YOU THINK IT. Of course William has heard these claims from his own staff and not a news paper! Add to this all the drama with Meghan, Harry even admits it was Meghan who upset Kate in that story, saying Kate had «baby brain». Well done Meghan who has her own podcast all about stereotypes of women dismissing a womans thoughts/feelings because of hormones and baby brain 🤦🏻‍♀️ Anyway, maybe Harry one day will wonder why they now sit there with no family on either side execept for Meghans mom.. Not saying it’s all her fault. Obviously Harry has deep rooted problems. But both of them take ZERO responsibility for their own behavior. And together they just double down on their victim behaviour. I supported them moving away and doing their own thing. Now I really can’t stand either of them, they come across as etremely bitter, petty and jealous.

I know! And we are supposed to believe these 2 are such compassionate people who only want to do good deeds?? I’m not buying it. Their hearts are full of hatred and vengeance. Harry can’t stop bragging about how his whole family is so jealous of him and Meghan: her popularity, beauty, intelligence, independence, his hair, beard and freedom to do whatever he wants while his brother is forced to put duty over his feelings. He even talks about a commander on his platoon being jealous because he didn’t see action in war. Is anyone NOT jealous of Harry and Meghan?? And now he says Meghan never told Oprah the royal family was racist. It was the British media who misunderstood her. What??? Then why not correct the media and the public instead of letting them call his family racist? He waits 2 years to clear this up, are you kidding me? Two things I’m grateful for and I’m not even British: that William was born first and that Queen Elizabeth didn’t live to see how her grandson has damaged his own reputation on his quest to bring down the institution to which she devoted 70 years of her life.

I wouldn’t get close to Harry in case he sells stories about you too 😂

People like harry and meghan really amaze me. How is that a grown adult can have so very little insight, so unaware of consequences, and has non existent ability to self reflect? Listen to him speak..he is trash talking his family, but does not intent to hurt them? While he felt ‘hurt’ by all the negative coverage. As if his feelings and opinions are all that mattered, the rest of the family are just..well, ‘chess pieces’ i guess.

They are well aware of the consequences. They just don't care because the only thing matter to them is the 'millions'. It is not about telling their side of stories. It is very much about them selling their one sided lies. We only hear Harry side of stories and P. William and the RF will not stoop to their low level, so we will never know the real truth. But for a younger brother who looks up to their older brother and who, it sounds like, was excited to be able to spend tie with them, I can imagine it was probably so hurtful. My older sister was one of the popular girls while I hung out with the weird art kids, and she rarely acknowledged me at school. And I know it's common, and it happens a lot. It still doesn't feel great, and doesn't really help the sibling relationship.

I would be devastated if my siblings aired our family laundry on social media for everyone to analyze. “It squashes this idea that my wife destroyed my relationship with my brother” that’s very revealing. He has written this entire book as an act of love to defend his wife. Without thinking about the consequences to his own family. I really feel sorry for him. What he had with his brother was normal sibling rivalry but he fails to see that.

Dude he legit said in this interview that this was sibling rivalry. He knows it was normal. As he said, it was never intended to hurt William. I agree with you on the first part however. But you have missed the fact that he didn't express William was some kind of monster, all he did was show the truth of where the cracks in their relationship came from to show that is wasn't his wife who caused the rift, it came far before that. What he is talking about is the normal events that caused distance and turmoil in the brothers relationship.

I can assure you I do not lack empathy and yet those are not cutting words, they are siblings. Siblings joke about baldness, they ignore each other in school... those are very normal things. I fail to see anything he said here as cutting, rather as he said it was "sibling rivalry"

Every time Harry opens his mouth, a breath of a million lies gets told. Harry just can't get over the fact that Prince William is gonna be KING one day. Harry has always wanted this position and not " The Spare."

"And I took that personally" is an excellent alternative title for his book. Or maybe for the follow up book/show/podcast/lifetime movie. I'm off to go check on my younger siblings to make sure I didn't scar them for life by telling them not to talk to me at school. Like Harry it's been almost 25 years so I'm hoping they are past it.

My little sister hated being around me and didn’t want to walk with me when we were kids. It’s totally different now. It was just young sibling behavior. We’re both in our late 20’s now.

My two younger siblings told me that there’s this cool girl at their school who is approx in my age. So they told everyone at school that the cool girl is their sister. And they told me that if someone from there school would see us together I should act as if I am not their sister. 😂 I survived it! 😉

Only a few years ago he was saying how he and William loved his stepmother to bits. Harry adored Kate too saying she was like a sister he never had and even said his family was the family his wife never had, yet she quickly turned on those who saw through her and those who tried to damage her chances of trapping Harry i.e her own family Meghan is behind all the hatred and the distancing between Harry from his family, she is the problem and always has been from day one.

There's no doubt Harry seems mentally unwell. Sounds paranoid and childish, frankly. He really needs to seek help. It's baffling how he could treat his family like that, particularly Catherine, who's always been nothing but kind. Appalling behaviour, disgraceful really.

Every older sibling does that to their younger sibling and then they regret it later harry you need to grow up this is not an interview 60 minutes should be ashamed

Every old sibling had done this…. and siblings fight. My brother hated me till the day he died. He was the middle child. I was the eldest. I had to be the responsible one and he terrorized his parents and grandparents. He got everything he ever wanted and I worked for everything. I’ve had my Harry.
