DESCRISTION
The PrimeTech Stove System is a unique multi-person all-in-one system that offers the most stable and windproof burner to satisfy the needs of the backpacking chef. This system contains everything a backcountry chef needs to prepare a wide range of foods for the crew while the regulated valve provides consistent power needed for a rolling boil, a slow simmer, and for everything in between.
Set up your backcountry kitchen with ease. The remote-canister stove, placed on the foldable heat reflector, stands alone with a low center of gravity and can be lit with the independent t-grip Piezo igniter. Boil a liter of water for pasta with the steady 7000 BTU (2000W) flame in under four minutes, then use the integrated colander lid to drain. Stash the hot pot and pasta in the insulated storage bag while you use the ceramic, non-stick coated pot to fry up the veggies prior to adjusting the flame to simmer the sauce. Easily switch between handing the hot pots with the Crimp Pot Gripper.
When you are ready to break down camp, simply nest all of the pots, parts and pieces into each other. Slide into the insulated storage bag for a clean, compact, and rattle-free camp kitchen.
PrimeTech advanced technology improves heat-efficiency by combining an optimized burner, an integrated windscreen, and a pot with an integrated heat exchange. This reduces fuel consumption by almost 50% (compared to conventional stoves), meaning you get to carry less fuel-hence a lighter backpack and more environmentally friendly cooking.
The stove system comes with an integrated Laminar Flow Burner and windscreen, two pots, a transparent lid with integrated colander, an independent t-grip Piezo igniter, a Crimp Pot Gripper, a padded/insulated storage bag and a foldable heat reflector.
Available in two sizes. Primetech Stove System 1.3L, feeds 1-3 while the Primetech Stove System 2.3L can feed 2-5 people.

    Hej Ted, thanks for the review! It's a very interesting cooking system. I use a stove and pots from Soto (Stormbreaker+Navigator), which are more expensive. It's great that there are more and more options available! I was also grinning when Albert handled the gear and food 😄 He's a great kid, it's fun to watch him grow!

    I have this set, for a couple of years now. My son also fix his tea by himself (although I keep an eye out). The set is very good quality. I did buy a frying pan as well as the coffee pot. Need coffee in the morning😊. Some remarks which I have found, it looses the rubber feet after a while, when it is windy the holes on the side are a problem, the frying pan do not get warm in the edges as it is a bit larger than the Stowe. Good reviews as always👍

    I have this kit and really like it. The main reason I got it was because it's a good platform for actual cooking as opposed to only boiling water. The simmer control is good and not only on or off. So you can adjust the flame accordingly. Stable platform, and it's also really quiet compared to other stoves. On low flame almost too quiet so it's hard to tell if it's going:)

    That looks like a nice setup, I appreciate how sturdy it looks making spills and tip overs unlikely. Unfortunately cooking for 2-3 people requires friends which are in short supply, lol. Looks like a great stove/cook set. It might be considered a bit heavy for solo backpacking but if people are sharing the load, I think it would work well. I also think it would be great for day hikes, car camping or canoe/kayak trips where weight isn't as much of an issue. I received the Primus Classic Trail stove two days ago. I have a very small stove already, but I wanted something that was a little more stable that I could use some of my bigger pots on if needed. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but the reviews have been promising. Looking forward to seeing you two on your upcoming adventures. Thanks for sharing

    How would you compare the piezo lighter to the piezo in a jetboil? I find jetboil often stop working.

  • @TedWeirum

    @TedWeirum

    Жыл бұрын

    They are sensitive, you gotta make sure that the little electric spark is able to hit the metal, if it breaks then you have to replace it. I think it similar with most piezo versions!

  • @Kasino80

    @@TedWeirum good to know. What would you suggest as a good small replacement for the Trangia? I find the Trangia too bulky to bring along. Ideally I'd like something with a windscreen, so the flame is contained, but so far I've only found jetboil and primus lite to provide that feature. The Primus Essential trail kit, doesn't have a very steady set up, and there doesn't seem to be room for the gas inside it.
