    that's actually the ride that inspired this, from what one of the ops told me, the owners took a trip to Canada and rode something and got inspiration for Primordial, which had to have been Guardian, that said though, it really is a one of a kind experience, that backwards helix and slide track are just something you have to experience for yourself

  • @jacehiggs3637

    @jacehiggs3637

    9 ай бұрын

    It is really similar to WMG but more coaster aspect, the cars are 4 across with opening in the middle and 2 cars per train vs 2 forward and backward per car. Also, (having not been to WMG myself) doesn't that only have a drop track element, and 1 at that?¿? Primordial has a split track for the ending, 1 side seen here is a slide track, the other track option is a vertical drop like WMG. Lastly the slide track element can be ridden (randomly) facing down the slide or backwards down it. It's done up way better, WMGx100 as another said, because of all this and much higher rider per hour as the drop or slide resets, another train is coming down the other track keeping the que flowing.

  • @jacehiggs3637

    @jacehiggs3637

    9 ай бұрын

    Oh and lastly, not seen here and I haven't seen it on any other video of other coaster rides. The station is always moving, has a conveyor belt next to the track, the cars rotate to face it and you get in as the trains are still moving through the station. This helps with the loading and unloading to again help the que stay moving.

When they're not around, then focus on the bad guys. The pew-pewer also has two triggers, one on front and one on back, i still have yet to find out if they do different things, maybe you can find out for me. And the guy who currently holds the high score has all top 4 positions. You can look at that in the gift shop.

    Everyone’s taking about a “park this size” my general curiosity is whether this is a smaller park than phantasialand and other highly themed euro parks. True theme parks obviously make all the money. I don’t get why it’s so hard to get the extra money for a loan that will more likely be paid off due to theming rather than ride intensity or road side attraction status. Enrgylandia seemed to relate but the US seems to be making the same mistakes over and over 🤷🏼‍♂️

    It's 95 acres. There's an interstate and some other roads right next to it, so not a ton of room to expand unless they buy out other lots and get creative with their setup. Primordial already took half the employee parking (coming from an employee who works at the complete opposite end from the parking lot). It's not a theme park, it's a general amusement park with a strong family focus and first opened in 1886, before any true theme parks were opened (Theme park being a subcategory of amusement park). So it has a sort of carnival feel to it with the games and such.

    @@jacehiggs3637 Yeah, exactly! People don't realize that, if they really wanted to, Lagoon could pack up and move Colossus pretty quickly. I work as a merchandise vendor, meaning Lagoon doesn't pay me, a separate company does. There's two stands I alternate between, one in Kiddieland next to the helicopters, and one on the NW corner of Wildmouse, which you would likely pass on the way to Wicked. I don't want to get more specific for internet anonymity's sake. Do you enjoy working Primordial? I was curious how it determines which ending you get. When I did test rides the week leading into opening, I rode 7 or 8 times and only got the dragon ending once.

    The queue has an animatronic that explains the story. Long story short, the riders are knights going to save the dragon/owl at the end. 3D glasses are necessary, and lighting is better in person. The ride literally just opened. There were a lot of delays, and they advertised the ride for this season very heavily so it had to open this season. Of course there's still superficial construction. My only complaints were that the fog effects made me nauseous after 7-8 consecutive rides (I was a test rider the week before it opened), and I only got the dragon ending once.
