Nope. The world's longest coaster, an alpine coaster in Andorra is more than double the length of this thing (I believe it's got 5.3 kilometers of track). For an alpine coaster you know that means a longer lift. And apparently Spain is going to be taking the record from them soon, about an hour and a half away from the current record holder. That region doesn't get enough attention for soon to be having the 2 longest coasters in the world (and presumably the tallest too going off elevation change).

I think this person is just like intentionally dragging it out with the hand brake. They should've been a lot faster in too many places & I think that "track whoosh" sound is the brake being constantly engaged. I guess they were trying to highlight the views, which is a waste of time as recorded images never do justice to the actual scenery. Lame videos of "thrill rides" are awesome! If I want to watch pretty "scenic videos" I can find some slow gondola vlog to watch 👍

No kidding! The rhythm of the tik-tok nearly put me to sleep! I fully expected a cartoon mouse to be at the top to say: "I thought you'd never get here!"

This is my dream roller coaster. No crazy loops. Just a wonderful ride and amazing views.

After watching the lift hill for seven minutes, the view hit hard!

For the people wondering: The ride starts at 7:23 (Yes, the lifthill is that long...)

Many times, I thought you were at the top; many times, I was wrong.

I always love when the lift hill is 80% of the experience.

7:39 it started to sound like a beat for a second 😂

You should try to ride the mountain coasters in Switzerland, they are the best in the world IMO, the alps are just so stunning

Rodelbahn Berg Bis Tal in Interlaken is probably the most unexpectedly intense alpine coaster I've been on

I've only ever done these on courses through forests and over nice grassy hills - the hard stoniness of the desert and the epic views really make this seem more exposed and exciting. well done.

i was going to say. "WOW" over one mile worth of fun! Till I see that there is 1/2 mile worth of incline. 🤣

Don’t get me wrong This looks pretty fun and wild. And those views are incredible. But it’s funny how over half the video it’s a chill lift hill.

Those Wiegand lift hills are something else. Legendary.

Amazing. It goes faster going up and slower going down.

For those who are critical of the long climb stop and think about it for a minute the ride starts its downhill run from the top of a mountain that doesn’t have any road access to it. To build a road up there would cost a fortune so it’s far cheaper to build a long hill climb for the sled. Would you rather pay a huge amount to be able to drive up there or what they charge and get a ride up in the sled that takes 7 minutes.

Wow that's incredible. I'm 66 and I would ride that. That must of cost a lot to build. Thanks for the ride!

I thought the coaster was going to last like 20 minutes after that hill. But it went so fast. Also, NOPE, just a tiny cart speeding on a rail with a seemingly infinite drop below.

There is amazing and wonderful coaster

I love the "slow down" sign at the end...as if you'd have any control over that.

Actually you do. There are handlebars on the side of the vehicle so you can slow down throughout the ride course if you want to. We elected to go full speed the whole time.

this one really built up a lot of speed, but unfortunately also slowed down at multiple points

after 7 mins climbing up begins 3 mins fun of sliding down!

How tall is this? And if it's in a hyper/giga/strata range, would you consider it as belonging to any of those categories?

That has got to be the slowest Roller Coaster I have ever seen. It's like watching paint dry.

I really thought this rollercoaster ride was going to be the longest uphill ride ever!!! However the action FINALLY starts at around 7:23 From then on, it's time to hang on tight for your dear life 😅

Longer than any of the alpine coasters I've ridden but still only half the length of the world's longest coaster in Andorra that doesn't get the attention it deserves for holding that record. I really hope to ride one of the bigger alpine coasters one of these days.

the brakes are automatic. the rider has the option to limit the speed even further with handlebars on the side to slow the vehicle down more, but the ride will come to a stop at the end regardless of if you use them

@CoasterStudios I was watching it in a big screen in 4k and noticed that thing highlighted in the blue sky in top right from 0:14 to 0:45, did you catch a UFO in the video or is that something else? BTW the ride is pretty cool 👍

The uphill ride should be nearly as fast as the downhill. You can tell the lawyers were all over this one.

I found myself leaning into the curves while I was sitting on the couch watching it.

I love how literally 3/4 of the video is just the lift hill.

11 months ago i rode on roller coaster in my city. But it was too scary for me so when it finally stopped i told my parents to go home. I also cried when i was talking that to them! Now im not riding roller coasters because of this one in my city which made me PTSD 😢.

They should start the ride from the top and bring the cart up empty. Seven minutes to climb it and then two minutes down they had a lot more turns and had it last a lot longer if they would’ve configure it differently.

Oh look it's the mountain coaster I was told didn't exist. Almost like I know what I'm talking about
