Luke, I have missed you at Primitive Gatherings California but good news! you are still around and have a service I can use. Yippee!

Part of the reason I, and many other quilters have so many piled up is the cost of longarm quilting. It doesn't stop me wanting to make quilts, just makes it so they don't get done as soon as I'd like.

So excited to hear you will work on wool appliqué!!! Hooray!!!😀

Looks like you have a great set up! I’ve always been afraid to send my quilts for quilting, especially my wool quilts which literally have my blood, sweat and tears in them. You’ve definitely made me feel less anxious about it.

Love the video and the passion and care you have for these quilts. The deigns I have seen on the quilts you have completed are spot on and really enhance the quilts design. Luke, Jake and Tyler will be doing great things for the Primitive Gatherings team and us quilters!

I have always been so impressed with Jake, and how he approaches stuff. I first talked to him when you guys had another quilting machine in the California store. He we enthusiastic then, but he really got excited about the new Bernina machine. He has really upped his skill level since the last time I spoke to him there. I wouldn't hesitate to send a quilt to him. I really like the computerized designs he is doing. I have my own Q20 but sometimes I might just want an overall pattern. I hope sometime he might offer classes if I go to a frame.

I usually hand quilt all my quilts but they are backing up. I have always been hesitant to have mine machine quilted but this might have changed my mind.

Lisa, might I suggest your LA quilters really should be wearing white gloves while they’re working to prevent skin oils and/or stains on the quilts. I am sure they keep their hands clean while working, but everyone’s skin has oil. Just like at quilt shows, people only handle other people’s quilts while wearing white gloves. In this video the dedication your LA quilters seem to have for their craft shines through! Wow! I hope to send my Moon Garden for quilting at PG eventually ... when I finish!
