On my trucks first start up of the day, after it has been sitting for a day or two, the engine would crank and crank and crank and eventually start. If you have this same scenario and find this excessive cranking for starting to be an issue then you're in luck - you can fix that! Let's talk about how to get your "mechanical fuel pump / Weber Carbed" engine to start up quickly every time. I'll show you how to install a simple electric fuel pump to prime the fuel bowl of your weber carb with the aid of a couple of check valves to fix this issue. If I can do this, so can you!
