just about to say it man :(. It's almost that time when you reflect on the memories you've had with Neymar. Can't believe it

the neymar from his second to fourth season at barca will be his golden years. unbelievable player and game changer. huge improvements in many aspects of his game too and he almost won it all with them. of course, injures will catch up due to his style of play, and this was more than likely his last ever World Cup. highly doubt he will feature in 2026 at 35 years old given his injury record. even so, he’s been a fabulous gift to the football world.

@@9pathNick no. cr7 is a prime example of changing your style of play to be more accustomed with what your body can handle. cristiano is a freak athlete and a football scholar. ive always said that if ney put on 10-15 lbs of muscle mass he would elevate himself physically and be able to do a bit more. but, his mentality has changed over the last few years and i cannot see him continue professionally for much longer.

It is insane to just look back that Neymar and Messi were in the same team in their primes. They were the top two most dangerous dribblers and great playmakers and finishers on the ball and yeah there also was Suarez to add on that front three who is a great finisher and has really good passing ability. No wonder they won a treble. Danger through right wing and danger through left wing. Magic on both wings. Damn. To top it all off with a great striker. Literally a difficult front three to handle for the defenders.

Also an underrated goalscorer too. He has scored over 400 career goals and is Brazil’s second top scorer of all time (only a few goals from surpassing Pele) at 30 years old. If he plays till 40, he can end his career with over 600 goals

But you can clearly see that Neymar has improved a lot since he is in PSG. He is like a playmaker now, he is giving brilliant passes over more than 30 meter. Its not so that he wouldn't dive it was becouse they knew thats what he wanted the moment they got in and tried to tackle him or challenge him thats when he would either use his explosiveness or his shiftiness to get past them thats the lvl he had the diving came about later
