Neymar's technical ability is unquestionable

he's always been world class. there's a very short list of players who are able to do what he can do on the pitch. a technical wizard when in play. he creates so many goal scoring opportunities for his squad and mesmerizes audiences with brilliant skill that looks so effortless watching. people just have to appreciate him for what he's doing and what he has done instead of comparing, criticizing, and setting expectations for him. he's truly a joy to watch and will be missed when he's done playing. his impact on this generation is up there with the greats of all time.

very underrated season, the best in europe in relation to the number of games and goals and assists, if it wasn't for the injury he would be the best in the world this season, and in the 18/19 too

He was in good shape against madrid last week for a guy just coming back from 2 months injured. We barely had time to see Mbappe/Messi/Neymar together this season, but this could get sick. Hope this was his injury of the year as usual and that's he'll be available for the those last few months.

@@polinamaurou78 in 2017-2018 season, neymar was definately ahead of messi in literally everything. More goals, more assists, better G/A ratio, more dribbles. And for those that will use the cope argument "FarMerS LeaGuE", first of all neymar also was the champions league top scorer and assister until he got injured as well, not just in league 1, plus messi strugles in league 1 so, it looks like it is not easy to play good, even in league 1. People should stop trying to undermine individual success by using bs arguments like "the league is easy" etc.

@@BokerAviv pós copa ( 2° temporada dele no psg ) já se via ele sofrendo com muitas lesões e indo em farra direto.... foram muitos problemas na temporada 18-19 onde teve a eliminação da Champions por United, perda da copa da liga, vice na copa da Inglaterra com ele dando soco no torcedor, e 1 mês depois aquele escândalo de estupro que abalou ele e dias depois ainda se lesionou as vésperas da copa América, tava sendo dureza pro Ney

2 things I really noticed is that in recent seasons he's lost the joy he clearly had while playing during this first season (probably due to how his repeated injuries affected him), and also how underrated his ability to completely break a team's defensive shape with a single pass or dribble. People might only look at his goals and assists, of which he has many, but that ability to blow the pitch wide open is unbelievable. I really think he could've gotten at least 2 UCLs and 1 world cup during his time at PSG if it hadn't been for his injuries.

@@rafaelguasp1141 Neymar is one of the greatest players of all time. he can break down an entire defense with just a few dribbles. Most of the goals that happened, neymar was involved. If its not a goal, its an assist. If its not an assist, its a goal. If its neither, its him breaking down the whole defense which leads to a goal. Saying he doesn't deserve any of those trophies is insane. You need to watch more football.

So when u say "one of the greatest" that's actually a cop out. Theres TONS of "one of the greatest" players all over the place. Neynar had potential to be bigger then ronaldinho and failed. And ronaldinho also didnt reach full potential. Point is, u cant play 4 year of high level and play in a farmer's league the rest if the career and act like hes still the same level as 2015 neymar. Hes not. Even ronaldinho when he was done, he was playing in lower leagues and "break down defense" lol have fun watching neymar dribble around a bunch of cones. That doesnt make u great tho. Sorry. Playing againts the greats madrid of all time for 15 years and win what messi or iniesta won is great.

At his first seasons in Paris he was the highest rated player in the world according to whoscored. He was higher rated than Messi at his best season, shame he didnt get to play more and he also dropped from 9 to 7.5 in whoscored.

This was the last bits of fitness and discipline after arriving from Barcelona, playing on the best team on the planet at that time he still had the energy from there so he was on another level from the French players. Now with injury and age his form has dropped considerably. He’s almost hazard level unrecognizable now.

Neymar's prime lasted longer than most people think.. He was at his best 2017-2020. I agree that Neymar today has declined hugely but at his absolute prime, Neymar is definitely one of the greatest players of all time and I don't say that lightly. He was near Messi level and definitely above Ronaldo.

Well... while Mbappe certainly learned from Neymar (who was clearly the best of the two at that time) and improved thanks to him, IMO it's a big exaggeration to say he was "just a kid who ran fast". It just takes one to have a look at his games with Monaco to realize he was already much more than that even before he joined PSG. Although he definitely improved in these departments (specially lately), the "kid" had already shown way above average abilities (noticeably great flair, quick decision making and sharp skills, on top of amazing pace) before psg bought him. He actually showed some stagnation on his first couple of years at PSG, but he was already much more than just a speed merchant anyway, when he joined them! Sure Psg likes to spend huge money, but they certainly didn't put 180 millions on the table just to get a fast kid. They are not ManU spending 80 millions on Maguire either 😂

Acredito que se tivesse um técnico que o motivasse de verdade a evoluir cada vez mais, seria o melhor jogador da atualidade, e continuaria sendo por alguns anos, assim como o Messi e CR7 foram

Neymar nessa primeira temporada no PSG foi o auge FOI O MELHOR JOGADOR QUE JA VI, era espetacular a criação,gols, assistências e dribles, só quem viu vai lembrar, as notas dele no score era sempre 9 pra cima kkkkkkk (esse auge dele bate com o do Messi 90 gols e o do cr7 destruidor de mata mata da Champions)

A única tristeza é saber que esse talento foi "desvalorizado", e aos que criticam só vão ver mesmo o talento que desprezaram quando ele se aposentar, e ver que já fazem mais de 10 anos e não apareceu um brasileiro a altura dele, ou com o impacto que ele teve, não tem jeito pra mim ele do Brasil é top 3 brigando fácil com o top 2

Esse neymar foi um dos melhores jogadores que eu vi também, era absurdamente efetivo e mágico, fazia fila, quebrava linhas com passes geniais, média absurda de gols e assistências, além de ter o futebol mais vistoso do mundo, o site sofascore, que avalia os atributos do jogadores, dava 99 (nota máxima) pra ele em técnica, ataque, e criatividade, era o único que rivalizava com o Messi, e o resto não chegava nem perto dos dois. Dito isto, ver ele atualmente é deprimente, fora de forma, perde na corrida até para um idoso e sua produtividade em campo não é nem metade do que este Neymar do vídeo produzia.
