I have never seen a player peaked so many times 2009-2012 : The goal machine 2015 : Greatest playmaker 2019 : arguably the most complete player we have ever seen. 2022 : The leader. He is so special, I don't think we will ever see a player who will be like him or close to him that he did throughout his career.

I agree with all of your points except the first one, you have to make a distinction and say 2010/2011 season was the highest peak I've ever seen of a footballer, Messi was maybe not as complete as in 2015 and 2019 but he was just UNSTOPPABLE in 2010/11, his dribbling and creating was on a whole different level, he maybe wasn't as complete but teams and especially defenses couldn't live with him. Never seen a player accelerate and be so agile. everything looked so natural as well. HIGHEST peak of a footballer ever.

Liverpool would've still thrashed them anyway but I get your point..come to think of it Barca wasted Messi's prime if he had a good team from 2017-2021 that would relieve him of his playmaking responsibilities so his work would be confined to the final third he would've won like two other champions league trophies. Also most people look back this season as a chapter that tainted Leo's career but this is ironically the time when the goat debate was settled for me. That Barcelona also had a lot of great players even before Messi like Deco, R10, Etoo. Then, with Messi, there were also Neymar, Henry, Zlatan... This team was going down due to bad finance management... That's why they even lost Messi, bc they couldn't afford keeping him within their finance, so he rushed to PSG, the worst Europe team there was and still is... He could've gone to a premiere league team if it wasn't for that bad management and late final release...

Some fans had the Ronaldo vs. Messi narrative, sure, but it was always crystal clear for anyone who knows football like the players and the managers. The only real debate has always been who is the goat out of the different generations: Pele, Maradona or Messi. The World Cup finally cemented that goat debate well for Messi.

After scoring a free-kick goal in the first match against Liverpool, I felt more satisfied than I had ever felt before. Even watching his mesmerizing performance and the grace with which he touched the ball until he scored two goals in that match was extremely satisfying. There was no moment in the rematch when I saw him helpless, but I saw Barcelona helpless for minutes. The football he played that season and the level he took Barcelona to was extraordinary. No other player can come close to this performance, no other football player can surpass a whole organization individually. Many fascinating moments should not have lost their importance because they were not crowned with a trophy

Anfield will always hurt a lot, 18th December 2022 cured all other losses, but this will always hurt.

I didn't cried in 2014 worldcup final, i never cried in 2016 copa final, i cried that day when Liverpool beat 4-0,all messi did that season came infront of my eyes... That 2018/19 season for me personally can never be peaked. And I don't see any player ever even coming close to doing that. The level of performance week in week out, in the league, in the CL the MOTMs, just forget about the goals for a second. This was the single biggest carryjob anyone's ever done and its such a shame they couldn't cap it off with a treble. It was there... It was so close.

Losing champions league clashes of vital significance from such commanding positions for two years in a row, especially when Leo gave his everything and was in the form of his life, took us (specifically me) into a state where you just have no explanations as to what happened. If it wasn't for the brilliant and aggressive teammates at Argentina who stood up for him in the following years, and saved us from the the worst depression of our life, his career would have gone under the radar. And I still believe if he had teammates that behaved like animals on the pitch, like the likes of DE Paul, EMI Martinez and Parades, at Barca in those crucial away champions league ties, we wouldn't even be having this conversation right now. His teammates let him down so much at Barca in the last 4/5 seasons.

That God decided to make balance in football by providing him the worst teammates possible for the other side to even have a chance...... How dare to people compare this incomparable legend... This video is less about how Leo carried Barcelona all through the season and other years in that period. And more about how the other 10 players always let him down. It is shameful and heartbreaking. Roma and Liverpool nights are emblematic of the fact that Messi was fighting it all truly by himself. And don’t even get me started on Jordi Alba crying in the dressing at Anfield at HT. This is the kind of fragile mentality Leo was surrounded with. Every time somebody mentions 2019 I feel like crying honestly, he was so good To think that certain Ronaldo fanboys say the bdor 2019 was rigged and that Messi stole it from Virgil plus the fact that it was so close between Virgil and Messi is absurd. This is the best individual season any player in the world can ever have, you can talk about 2012, 2015 or even 2011 Messi, but 2019 Messi did not have an organized team around him, he was the main creator and the main goalscorer, the only thing he didn't do was defend. No player in history has ever come close to playing like this throughout an entire season and it's hard to imagine anyone ever will (hopefully I see another Messi during my life)

Finally one decent Liverpool fan. 2019 made me lose complete respect for Liverpool fans. Trolling and mocking Messi was unnecessary. Bayern Munich have humiliated Messi and Barcelona twice but atleast fans showed class and respect.

You made me cry again after making this video..that game against Liverpool is still so fresh , being a Barcelona fan have been the best thing that ever happened to me .for decades I have watched almost every Barca games , that Liverpool game still haunts more them 8-2 or any other game , it was until Messi's world cup triumph that ease a bit of pain

This video just hit the heart... What they said about the other 10 players is very true, look at all the forward passes he made to put them in scoring positions, the wasted chances from Ousmanne... And this was the same thing said about argentina for a while, so at the end they heavily relying only on Messi when they have other players not stepping up or doing their job. But at the end of the day we have to accept that they are not in that "Messi class" and cant really blame them for not affecting the game as much.... Thanks for making these videos in the way you do
