It’s just amazing and crazy how they flipped his character and changed him so much from his comic counterpart.

Shit feels like an active mental shift/mental breakdown going on in A-Train's head. Fucking amazing edit.

Only thing that could make this video even better is if it ended with the clip of A-Train taking MM to the ER, and the kid looking at him like he's a hero, because he actually did something purely based on good will, even in spite of all the negative consequences that came along with it. For the first time, he was 100% a hero, and it actually made him happy!! That scene was one of my favorite in fiction ever.

It ain’t all of a sudden it’s been a love and hate with him. Seeing him have that inner turmoil of doing what’s right vs what’s easy. And like a real person he stumbles and falls but seems like he’s found his way. He’s not scared anymore! Can’t stop the A train baby !

How does this go so inhumanely hard

We already who would win if he went toe to toe with Homelander, but if the fight were to actually happen then I wish A-Train would put up a good fight. A-Train finally bravely standing up to Homelander would be absolutely critical to his redemption arc, the climax of his arc where he finally learns what it takes to be a hero.

I think the best redemption possible for A-Train at this point is a death that affirms his identity as a hero, maybe a last stand against Homelander or something.

this is gonna be a fantastic tribute for when they inevitably kill him off by the end of this season

Honestly the only thing I dislike is the random switch to Frenchie and the dude he’s dating. Like yeah he’s gay but he’s kinda of an unnecessary barrier to the obvious him and Kimiko endgame. It’s just a waste, I’ve enjoyed the rest tho

I mean Frenchie was the coolest in S1 and 2. Remember the moment where Frenchie was the only one who didn't get burned properly because he had like 20+ identities and 50+ different places lmao

I love how much a-train is growing and I feel like he’s not done.

Love the song choice and how it can be interpreted for his character. “ I wasn’t taught to share but care” can be used to make it seem he deep down he really wanted to be a hero but didn’t because of his selfishness “ in another life I surely was there” this represent a world where he was a hero and did not get consumed by narcissistic though and behaviors, since “there” in the song mean a perfect world “Maybe I wasn’t there” represent his regret and thinking himself underserving of his happy ending
