One twin is a spoiled mob boss's daughter and the other one is a Korean resistance fighter and a sharp shooter. They switch places, it's like a violent version of The Parent Trap.

As a former theater kid, something about the way Joy drops the ends of her sentences and the way the Butler guy overacts with his facial expressions is all giving me some pretty strong “bored theater kid on TikTok” vibes. Seriously-who other than a theater kid or English nerd would name-drop Jocasta like that? They are incredibly identical, but the eyebrow thing looks kind of like it could be a scar? Or like a style choice? I watch The Welsh Twins (they have separate accounts, and then one joint channel where they make videos together to remind you they are different people lol) And it is crazy how identical they are, but one of the boys has an eyebrow scar and that is obviously only on his face.

As a teacher who is currently trying to budget to be able to move out on my own.... I really appreciate the teacher love. We do what we do because we care. I got into this job knowing that we were under appreciated and underpaid because I want to be able to be a part of my kiddos success and growth. Even though we know what we are getting in to, it is nice to see people who care about us.

Again no edit button so clarifying/fixing something else I said I was originally saying the grandma is part of Joy’s adoptive family, and Trixie is with their biological billionaire family It could be the other way around, where Trixie was adopted by the billionaire and Joy is with the biological not-rich family. Either way, the grandma and the billionaire dad would not be biologically related.

Yeah, to be crystal clear, I love LBD and its friends and think it's much better than this nonsense. My point is that the base format (people telling a story via Internet video masquerading as and using the style of irl Internet video, lots of different channels interacting for authenticity) is pretty close. I actually think it's too close, nobody really uses tiktok like they're pretending the characters do, it would probably make more sense on KZread. Also it's not based on anything so there's less clarity of purpose. There's plenty of differences, including one being good and one less so.

I actually find this entertaining, funnily enough! I did acting as well and I especially find Darren super charming and I actually like his acting! The way he speaks and does the facial expressions and these stories are great, knowing they're fake. I know TV shows are fake and yet that's why I watch them. The acting is really good in my opinion. Seems like any theater thing I've seen and I can't tell. Trust me, there's been WAY more bad acting and this is pretty good! Plus this content is a lot more entertaining than just randomly pointing at crap while not saying anything haha. This is actually pretty entertaining all things considered!

these video stories remind me of those paranormal fake Twitter threads people would make about crazy shit happening to them . I remember following one pretty closely and not really knowing it was fake until after it had ended (I was also like 14) idk I think these are honestly really cool, sometimes it’s fun to make shit up on the internet

I’m pretty sure the weird letters and numbers in words (like s3xt and d8) is to get past TikTok censors - the same way a lot of people spell “weed” like “ouid” and say “accountant” instead of sex worker to get past restrictions

why does this make me anxious like the way they’re pretending this made up nonsense is real makes me uncomfortable. especially the way they act it is just so like…off. it makes me very uncomfy

I’ve seen some other fictional storylines on tiktok and KZread shorts, but it’s always pretty clear that they’re fictional and the creators talk about acting sometimes as well. I’ve never seen one like this where it’s kind of trying to be “real”
