@@zacharyeisenberg4565 yes it was… I was in the middle of rewatching it and saw this trailer, btw if you wait for thanksgiving you can get HBO for like 2.99 per month for a year, with ads, but hey better ads than paying like $15 for the ad free, their ads are short anyway, I do it every year with Hulu and HBO their Black Friday sale you just make a new email every year to get that discount

This was a favorite in the 90s. Originally acted by Harrison Ford and Bonnie Bedelia. Do yourself a favor and don’t spoil the ending by going to watch the original, but once you see this one, do yourselves a favor and watch the original. Really, REALLY good movie.

The trailer, Wikipedia, and IMDb seem to show a few differences from the book and original movie - Rusty’s son does have a bigger role. Rusty may not lead the initial investigation, as Tommy (played by Sarsgaard, Gyllenhaal’s frequent co-star and real-life brother-in-law) immediately suspects and prosecutes Rusty. Sandy, Rusty’s defense lawyer, isn’t even a main character in this one. Too bad because his character was a favorite of fans. Let’s see what other changes are made. Maybe a new twist?

Same. & I’m finding older stuff I didn’t even know existed . Servant it weird AF in a really good way You just have to get to episode 3 before it really starts getting you hooked But once it does it’s on I can’t turn away …. Until episode 3 comes out of Presumed Innocent 😁

I love that the Jake is working with his brother in law Peter Sarsgaard

This is a remake of the 1990 Harrison Ford movie, that itself was an adaptation of the book from a handful of years before that lol I assume then that if this is successful it will also have the sequels in play…maybe lol

Ford and Dennehy were magic in the OG.

I am a simple guy, I saw Jake Gyllenhaal on thumbnail, I saw the trailer and now I am waiting for this

I always look forward to any script picked up by Jake Gyllenhaal. Watched the 1st two episodes, and am completely engrossed. Script is tight and to the point. Great show!

Super excited for this show! I adore Jake Gyllenhaal, so it's awesome that AppleTV+ was able to bring him into an interesting project like this.

Jake is best at playing such character which are emotionally vulnerable

There is a classic period of Harrison Ford, and that is the ‘80s. From Raiders, Blade Runner, and Empire Strikes Back which were all released in 1980 to 1989 when Last Crusade was released. In this decade there were the excellent Harrison Ford movies, including Witness and Presumed innocent. Don’t watch this Jake Gyllenhaall one. You will be doing yourself a favor.

Jake Gyllenhaal, I've watched him in almost everything since the days of Donnie Darko. He's one of the talented actors of his generation. Up there with Ryan Gosling. He's in an an amazing Prada Luna Rossa campaign. All class and very sleek.

The way it kept showing the words "I did not do it - Guilty" on the screen mde me really want to watch this.

I read the book by Scott Turow a few years back. It was good. I've also seen the original movie with Harrison Ford in 1990. As everyone else has said this is a perfect role for Jake. I might have to get Apple+ just to watch this.

Great show

The original book is a classic. The film version with Harrison Ford was pretty good, but was necessarily truncated. I hope this is a more completed version, but I am seriously looking forward to this. I love Jake's work, so I am also in!
