I think the pendulum might finally be swinging back. I hope it is anyway. There's a great RPG on the Gamecube, Tales of Symphonia. The bad guys are called Desians, and their major biological trait is that they are Half-Elves. They brutally enslave all humans they encounter, and seem to make up the majority of the world. There's a few pure elvish settlements, and the Desians don't bother them, from what I remember, but it has been a long time. The game's setting and story revolve around a long term cycle, quasi-immortality, and a planetary scale. At some point in the course of the story, the main character Lloyd is wondering why the Desians are so cruel, and one of the other characters who is a quasi-immortal says something to the affect of, "At one time, the Desians were few, and were heavily discriminated against. But adversity and hatred of others goes so far back, there's no way to tell just who started oppressing who first, so all that can be said is that they are the oppressors now but they weren't always." It was said in a lot fewer words, a bit more eloquently, but I haven't played through the game in its entirety since about 2006. That conversation those characters had, has always stuck with me. It seems to reflect human nature. No one actually seeks equality in our world. They only seek dominance.

The thing that's interesting here though is it isn't the minorities seeking dominance and crushing censorship. It's a faction of white Europeans who pretend to hate themselves to jockey for status and position. There has never been a moment quite like this in history when a dominant majority group argued for and implemented its own persecution and destruction. Of course this is because these people don't identify as part of that group, but they remain part of the group nevertheless.

there is no pendulum, like mises said everything happens because people take human action, the left took action to get to this point, they took over everything, slowly but surely, they did not pray to got or whatever. People begin to notice despite the censorship due to the absurdity of it, its illogical so it cant be excused and must be attributed to ideology. What the left is doing is ignore reality, and you can ignore reality but you cannot ignore the consequencies of ignoring reality.

@@garlicbread1107 for sure, but looking back I think only the first one is worth a damn because even the second one attempted that nauseating disney sweetness (the whole "when somebody loves you" bit about Jessie.) And for me, the third one was pretty much a rehash of 2 and included the same emotionally manipulative sentimentality. I was just talking to someone about how a lot of movies I grew up watching had edge, conflict and 'political incorrectness' etc. In the first one, it's so amusing how irritated and annoyed Woody is. He tells Buzz to shut up, calls him an idiot, they fight and argue, get stranded and the sequences at Sid's house were disturbing as a child. It was kind of dark but smart and appealing. I can't even believe a 4th was made and what I heard about it makes me wish I was in a different reality.

@@j-555 Toy Story 2 was released in a time when Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were both in their prime. The film was a mine of pop culture. It was mostly style with very little substance. This was back in the late 90’s, and that was when the push for extreme leftism started to occur. 80’s to early 90’s was the last great era for Hollywood. Comparing the 1989 Indiana Jones to 2023 Indiana Jones is like comparing a food cuisine to a McDonalds Happy Meal that sat out in the sun too long. Ghostbusters 2016 was when woke Hollywood stopped being subtle. It’s a disgrace to the old Ghostbusters that starred Bill Murray.

At 36, I feel very thankful I grew up in the 90s and the early 2000s. What the younger generation of e-tards are doing is nothing short of disgusting. Hollywood today panders to them. There is barely anything in modern western entertainment that appeals to me anymore. It’s either Japanese and Korean films, or old vintage John Wayne movies that my grandparents and great grandparents watched in the 1950s - 1970s.

There are a few great Korean dramas that are really good cinema. Kingdom is a period piece zombie series set in the 16th century. Great sets, great actors, and a wonderful take on the zombie genre. Squid Game was really good too If you like detective dramas, Signal is one of the best. Pseudo time travel. A profiler in our time is talking to a detective from the 80s/90s, changing aspects of the future.

@@scoticvsgossage9378 I prefer Judgment. It's made by the same developers who crafted the Yakuza franchise. It's a spin off of the series where you play as a detective and you solve a series of crimes. It has a lot of stuff that older gamers don't like. Lots of cutscenes, interactive quick time events as opposed to actual gameplay. But Japan these days is more based, can make higher quality products, and isn't as influenced by woke western politics. And as a modern game, Judgment is worth the time playing. Even Final Fantasy XVII (FF16), while the series has gone downhill, is still a more polished product than what you get from most western AAA developers at this point.

@@ash0787 I feel that has always been the case. 16 - 22 year olds are young. They’ve just started their first job. They have no experience with the real world. The problem is these kids have no outside life. At 36, we were the last kids to grow up without the internet and without social media. Even so, MySpace left a lasting impact on my generation. In 2004 most of my highschool friends had a profile. Those who were a few years older than me enjoyed life without a computer presence. They couldn’t wait to drive on their own and move way from their parents. Now I see young people who cannot do interpersonal communication. It’s a sad state of affairs and social media has led to many young people with mental illnesses.

the game also supports mods so potentially we might see entire party members or npcs or story cutscenes ( bear stuff ) removed or replaced ? imagine if the game ends up getting modded as much as Skyrim has ? so far the foundations seem good, the maps and graphical style is lovely, combats a bit slow and high effort though, perhaps not something you can just mindlessly replay for thousands of hours.

Growing old, I learned to finally give up things I love. All ruined by filthy casuals invading our nerd space, greed or how it got ruined by woke propaganda. Final fantasy 7, Comic book movies, or the comic book genre as a whole. The manga I love, Naruto. The cartoon I love, Avatar the last airbender. Star wars when Disney killed the EU, the legion of filthy casuals wanking on trash books, comics, movies and series. and the most painful, the sport of boxing. Which is ruined by greed, the casuals and corruption. It's funny how disney is supposedly pushing for "diversity". They owned ESPN and that network had a very racist commentators and bias against African American boxers.

It isnt just the western world that is under scrutiny by this, its many worlds including many religions..

Regarding Baldur's Gate 3... It's sad to see Larian being gobbled up by the Woke Witch. I enjoyed Divinity: Original Sin 2 very much, and even have fond memories of Divinity: The Dragon Knight Saga despite its myriad of bugs (it has an EXCELLENT soundtrack, the world is fun to explore and feels alive, good humour) go pick it up on sale if you've never played it before, it's a fun game truly. The pendulum is swinging slowly back to the right - keyword slowly. It may still take us a few more years, but this woke nonsense will reach its apex point one day and people will revolt. In the mean time I keep busy playing older games and remakes of old games (Crash Bandicoot and Spyro have infinite replay value!) In Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled alone I've sunk over 800 hours and I still go back to it every so often. People are dumping on the new Crash game (Crash Team Rumble) but I find it quite addictive.

I think your last point is an American export that managed to take hold globally unfortunately. Baldurs Gate 3 is pretty good, you should get it from The Bay or buy it just before it leaves early access, its only 50 pounds at the moment which is surprisingly low, might get higher when the game officially releases which is meant to be late august, of course they might do a delay like many games seem to nowadays. I wonder how much of the game will actually be finished though... its such a huge project and episodic or 'live service' games that change over time are becoming more popular now.

Dude BG3 isn't that bad ( so far ), yes there are multiple black druids in the first major area of the game, and theres a black party member with a modern London accent thats totally expected and immersion breaking, and well most of the NPCs seem to be demonic ( tieflings ), normalizing demons basically (?), some of the writing feels soap opera tier, but the actual world and gameplay is not that bad, I feel like Larian is mostly trying to make a real game, but are likely paying lip service to social justice, and are basing the game on a newer version of D&D thats naturally had a lot more progressive influence in the formation of its lore.

For a subscriber who "likes the content" you agreed to unsubscribe very quickly. Anyway, your point is invalid. Disney is race-swapping European folktales and fairytales. The result is an otherwise European aesthetic populated by non-Europeans. It's jarring, and even a child would notice this, for the same reason that a child would notice if Europeans were race-swapped into, say, feudal Japan.

One thing I don't get is how y'all simultaneously say movies and games are worse. Sure, movies and tv are dumbed down and whatnot, less effort put into them. But it's the exact opposite with videogames.

Uhhh, AAA games are currently mismanaged in ways that were largely unheard of pre-2010. Only a few dev teams like ID software and Fromsoft keep the old school cohesion alongside the complexity of modern game design.

@@ThatGuy-ky2yf how? You really gonna say Mario, Zelda, etc were better as 2D games? Name a 2D game that comes even close to games like Nier

@@PikUpYourPantsPatrolYes, they were. Without those 2-D Mario and Zelda games we wouldn’t of gotten the 3-D titles to begin with.
