    Not a lot of people explain the how and why, so thanks for doing that. You're a pro who's recently won 2 huge tournaments and you make it feel like the average person can put a few pieces of information together and grind out some bass. I'm going to take this knowledge and use it this weekend when I'm cranking. Good luck on the next tournament!

    Thanks for your video today, you got very in depth with the process you were using to figure out the fish and what they were doing!! What really got my attention was the fact that you stuck with basically one bait ( cranking ) but had some that ran different depths to cover the areas you were fishing!! I liked how you explained what you were doing!!! Thanks again for what you do and teaching how you do it!!!!!!

I can’t quit watching your videos now man seeing as how your from my hometown! The one sentence every kayak angler with a paddle hates to hear- "We need to cover water." No- not again, it hurts! And figuring out how to mount a trolling motor efficiently on one that's not made for it- not easy. It takes me all summer to get used to it and stop being so sore after a trip- then winter hits and I have to put it up. I'm gonna figure out how to get a trolling motor on that thing this season- it's killing me.

  • @Christiefishing

    You don’t have to cover the lake. Scale it down. There are resident fish in creeks too. Move around the creek until you find them.

  • @RockyTopSplash

    Typically bass start spawning 57*... about 1-2 months after it hits that every bass should have spawned by then. There's not really a cut off.. basically just a start point and everybody come to the party asap. Hope this helps.

    Why would you downsize crankbait for clearer water, is it because you can wind it quicker?

  • @Christiefishing

    @Christiefishing

    2 жыл бұрын

    Didn’t necessarily downsize. Went to deeper diver because of clearer water. Knew the fish could be anywhere from bank to out a little deeper off bank. Wanted to cover all of it.

    I think people find it easy to relate. Just catch fish. Nothing fancy. Crankbait, spinnerbait, chatterbait, jig, frog. That's what fishermen like to do.
